Wray has until 10/22 to answer questions about FBI technical analysis + “the committee must know whether the FBI has assessed the validity of materials the whistleblower has provided + what, if any, actions FBI has taken since obtaining this information

Congress, and its committees, have no law enforcement powers.
If Trump had the power to fire Wray, he would have fired him long ago. That he has the AUTHORITY to do so does not mean his lawful orders will be obeyed, and they usually are not.
Wray has 17 days to tough it out, and thetre is an excellent chance all of this will disappear.
Ron Johnson is bluffing with a weak hand, and everyone knows it.
A) Congress has no law enforcement powers.
B) The GOP does not control both Houses of Congress.
C) There is an excellent chance that, in 17 days, they will lose the Senate.

AOC and crew might inherit whatever is left of the Dem party. I’m sure that she is just FULL of “I told you so’s”.
If it can be shown that the Dem leadership knew about the existence of that laptop and that the Feebs were sitting on it, then to my mind that’s proof that all involved have known from the first that BiteMe is a catspaw.

Gmail is primarily a web-based email solution, meaning that, in most cases, messages are fed from Gmail's server, not stored locally on the computer in a 'mailbox' like it is done in standalone email software, such as Outlook or Eudora. It CAN be configured to download messages in this way, but are we to believe that a worthless crackhead - one with Biden genetics, no less - would have the wherewithal to set it up this way? I'm a skeptic.
This also would seem to make it unlikely that someone 'planted' the messages, like some on the left are trying to say. There may be temporary caches for mail accessed in a current live session, but I don't think you'll find a contiguous area in memory for thousands of emails. Those would be on the server. I think it's very unlikley that there is a treasure trove of email messages located in an easily identifiable area of the hard drive in the vast majority of Gmail users' computers.
Most of the time, you have to be online and logged into Gmail in order to real mail. There is an offline mode, but its utility is limited. I want both Bidens to go down, but something about this just doesn't sound right...
