only NY Post seems to have - probably a typo - reported that date for the first call between President Trump and Zelensky. it was actually 21 April 2019, the day Zelensky became President:

If Trump had the power to fire Wray, he would have fired him long ago. That he has the AUTHORITY to do so does not mean his lawful orders will be obeyed, and they usually are not.

He was smart to do so. Passing off a copy of the drive also ensures the FBI doesn’t pull a Seth Rich on him.
