NBC News will host a live town hall with Republican presidential nominee President Donald Trump, moderated by Savannah Guthrie, in Miami on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. During the one-hour town hall, Guthrie will moderate a conversation between President Trump and a group of Florida voters on critical issues impacting their vote less than three weeks before Election Day.
The event will take place outdoors at the Pérez Art Museum Miami in accordance with guidelines set forth by health officials and consistent with all government regulations. NBC News has been given a statement by Dr. Clifford Lane, Clinical Director at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), indicating that he and Dr. Anthony Fauci have reviewed the presidents recent medical data, including a PCR test collected and analyzed by NIH on Oct. 13, and have concluded with a high degree of confidence that the president is not shedding infectious virus.
Both Guthrie and the president will be at least 12 feet apart from both each other and the audience. The audience will also be socially-distanced and required to wear face masks while on the premises, answer a symptoms questionnaire and take a temperature check prior to entering the outdoor venue. Every NBC News staffer will be tested on site on the ground in Miami.
The town hall will follow the same format and will air in the time slot as NBC News town hall with Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, moderated by Lester Holt, held last Monday, Oct. 5. In addition to airing on NBC, the primetime event will also air across MSNBC and CNBC, stream on NBC News NOW and be available in Spanish on Telemundos digital platforms.
Those on a cable system should turn on all tvs to NBC and not check ABC. Ratings.
Well, I’ll not not turn NBC on, but will DVR the show and then delete it.
Guess that counts, but I want POTUS viewers to SWAMP Sloe Joe and ABC!
No TV here, no cable service. Is there going to be a way to see the Trump forum online without a pay service?
He’s on another network.
All you have to do is set the DVR for whatever program is scheduled on NBC @ 8:00 PM.
Biden is doing his own at the same time on ABC.
Will be interesting which one gets the better ratings.
Biden will be on ABC at the same time, unless some weirdness happens. LOL
Here's a picture of Biden resting...
(Oh, you mean Pop Biden. Never mind then.)
Who picks the townhall voters?
Yes, I know.
This thread is about Trump’s town hall. Biden won’t be there.
Probably all from Broward county
Did you mean "lowlight clips"?
Comma-la is out of action for exposure to covid. Trump should offer her and her staff the special treatment he got.
iS THIS REAL?
Am I the only one that doesn’t know what that thing in his mouth is? Disturbing optic for sure.
Just for fun I did a google image search on this photo. I thought other pics of Hunter might show up. Instead there are tons of pictures of people with awful skin rashes. The best though is a pic of a pig in bed with the sheets pulled up around him. Hilarious but I am easily amused.
Something tells me that Biden won’t show,
I thought it was Trumps Town Hall, why would Biden show?
I dont trust the ratings. Do you?
Trump is drawing a very big distinction between himself and Biden. Today Trump had a huge rally giving a speech for 1 1/2 hours, then he’ll face a biased antry “moderator” and face handpicked hostile “undecided voters” for another 1 1/2 hrs. Biden by contrast did nothing yesterday or today, he then will face a friendly “moderator” and take scripted questions from Biden voters.
Since the Trump and Biden town halls are on at the same time, my guess is that Trump will get at least twice as many viewers. Not too many people are really interested in watching Biden engage in a scripted campaign commercial. They would rather see Trump slugging it out toe to toe with angry, biased, anti-Trumpers.
Hes been practicing for days.
