I’m sorry to say this, I really am, but I don’t think there is any common ground left. The people driving the Dems have seen to that - class warfare is a zero-sum game, after all, and class warfare is the model they’ve chosen. We are not individual people with whom political discourse may be practiced, we are members of an enemy collective with which no peace is possible by definition. Not until that toxic model is extirpated within the Democrat party is any sense of accommodation possible.

Thank them for Corn Pop and Joe Biden’s hairy legs. And for Nancy Freaking Pelosi. Thank them for AOC and Schiff and Jerry Nadler. We could not have asked for better (or more stupid) opponents.

Express appreciation for their PC dogma. Americans hate cancel culture, so that was very easy to run against. Thank them for tearing down statues and burning police cars. We could not ask for easier opponents to beat.

Americans have always tried to be kind - so the response to the left was to take a step back and not engage them - feeling intimidated.
What did the left do when this happened?
They took a step forward to intimidate yet again, and a cycle began taking place.
America has lost a lot of ground since the late 1980's. The left has become emboldened to the point of threatening our very existence.
President Donald Trump has been the one God has used to show us that it's ok to not step back. It's ok to stand firm. It's ok to speak facts. It's ok to take a step forward against our enemy instead of always stepping backward.
I use the term 'enemy' because that is what they have made themselves - seeking our demise, even unto death.
It's time to take back our land. President Trump has shown us the way.
They have pulled out all the stops for over four years to either stop Trump or get rid of Trump. Pelosi has cooked up her 25th Amendment “commission” Last week there was talk of impeaching Trump again. For what? They never accepted the results of the 2016 election because I am sure they figured that was their chance to finally seal their dominance on the country for good. Trump (and we who supported him) foiled that. They are not going to give up, and I think it is not going to turn out well. He is a major threat to the establishment in this country in ways that we can imagine and probably in ways that we can’t.
They do not have the country’s best interests in mind — neither the leaders nor the followers. In my own small way, I do not intend to cooperate with them.
