The next presidential debate fell into serious jeopardy on Thursday after President Trump said he would refuse to participate in a virtual matchup and Joseph R. Biden Jr. pledged to hold an alternative town hall with voters on the night of the scheduled event.

The extraordinary developments came after Mr. Trump rejected plans by the Commission on Presidential Debates to have the candidates square off remotely from separate locations on Oct. 15, rather than onstage in Miami, citing health concerns about the coronavirus.

The “town hall” debates are dumb anyhow. All you get is some libtard losers whining “Gubmint is our daddy! Where’s my Santa Prezzies and chicken tendies? Waaaah!”

No it doesn’t, he just has the debate in Tucker Carlson’s Studio and put an empty chair with Joe’s name on it, have an audience too.

I’m reminded of an old joke about a guy running into a railroad depot asking the clerk for a ticket to Jeopardy. When the clerk asks where that is, the guy replies, “I don’t know, but this here newspaper headline says ‘5,000 Jobs in Jeopardy’!”

Don’t let them frame this.

Biden refused to participate in the second debate. Period.
They framed it as a unilateral change to “virtual” because they knew Trump wouldn’t go along with someone else’s orders without negotiation, causing Trump to cancel - free “get out of debate” card for Joe.

Bad move, Joe. Don plays hardball.

Trump will be hosting the Rush Limbaugh show tomorrow. Should be a Hoot.

............

Rush should offer the same to Joey . Put him in a real bind . He would claim biased but it’s been shown 2x that the moderators definitely lean left
So this puts some balance in.

Besides Trump did a town hall with Georgie S another lib so Joey has some catching up to do, and an opportunity to show how he would bring everyone together

I guess that will leave Biden to do his own virtual debate,
er whatever, with virtually no one listening.

“A “Virtual Debate” with Biden’s basement fully equipped with teleprompters, questions provided in advance with answers vetted by the “Media”. LMFAO.”

And a Team Biden moderator, who viscerally hates Donald Trump, and who wants to ensure that they don’t repeat the “mistakes” they made in 2016.

Thanks. 43 million over the course of a three hour show is a lot. Can’t wait to see what the numbers look like with Trump on, but if there is a way for these numbers to be manipulated down (meaning out of Rush’s control), they will.

Biden now looks to be doing a townhall in PA on ABC with Stephanopolous on that date.

Yeah, that’s what I hear.

Good luck with that.

They’ll fill the hall, but compare his television viewing
audience to Trump’s listeners tomorrow on the Rush Limbaugh
show.

Smile...

If Joe goes forward with his "townhall," it will be a scream to compare its size with Our President Trump's rally on the same night.

Yeah, but the MSM will lie about Biden's ratings.

>>Could they debate on Jeopardy?<<

Trump: I’ll take “Absolutely Nothing” for $2,000 Alex.

Trebek: What has joe biden accomplished in 47 years of politics?

Exactly. This was their ploy to be able to cut Trump’s mic without being obvious that was what they were doing. Trump was smart not to fall for it.
