Adam Silver sat down for an interview with Rachel Nichols on NBA Countdown earlier this week, and indicated that the social justice messaging that you see on the courts and the backs of players’ jerseys will be “largely left off the floor” next season:
Here is the relevant question and answer:
Rachel Nichols: The NBA has certainly been the most visible billion-dollar organization championing social justice and civil rights. As you noted in your press conference the other day, though, that has not been universally popular. How committed are you to being that going forward?
Adam Silver: We’re completely committed to standing for social justice and racial equality and that’s been the case going back decades. It’s part of the DNA of this league. How it gets manifested is something we’re gonna have to sit down with the players and discuss for next season. I would say, in terms of the messages you see on the court and our jerseys, this was an extraordinary moment in time when we began these discussions with the players and what we all lived through this summer. My sense is there’ll be somewhat a return to normalcy, that those messages will largely be left to be delivered off the floor.
And I understand those people who are saying ‘I’m on your side, but I want to watch a basketball game.’

This Veteran would like to find out, on a weekly basis, just which NFL teams had kneelers during our fantastic National Anthem, who, and how many?
Is there a website that might compile such info?

Background: I wanted to watch a Denver Broncos this past week, but since I could not know for certain if there would be kneelers, I chose to not give the net a "hit".
I'm stronger and my resolve is more steeled than is the America-hating Mister Goodell's.
However, if a team (the entire team, including players, cheerleaders, owners and etc.) chooses to honor our Flag and Country (and us Vets) I might watch the contest.

I stopped watching years ago. It has become too Gangsta for my taste. BLM Marxist propaganda only reinforced my decision. I will never watch a NBA game for the rest of my life. College basketball is much more entertaining.

Adam, you don’t understand. It is too late to pick the game out of the crap hole that you have “guided” it into.
You will lose Billions of $$$$ and deserve to lose every penny. You lost control or the black lives players and those they hoodwinked into thinking that the cause was theirs and an important one.
Early leadership could have stemmed the tide but there is no leadership to be found in the NBA offices. Easy when all is well but when the players start to run the operation, you are DEAD MEAT.
As my Dad said, “it’s foul ball, too many fouls and going to the line to shoot free throws. It’s stuff ball, stuffing the ball in the hoop is not the game. The game is only interesting in the last 3 minutes, why watch it at all?”

The amazing Mr. Silver wants to mostly take Social Justice messaging off the courts. Will Mr. Silver and his amazing NBA players be taking to the streets? Will they intimidate, loot, burn, tear down statues of those they hate, and perhaps kill some people?
Will LeBron James be moving to Compton, California? Will Mr. Silver move the NBA league to China? So many important questions that the amazing Mr. Silver and his NBA millionaires have to answer.

Some College teams are having the players stay in the locker room until the National Anthem is played. After its conclusion the players come out and THEY KNEEL FACING THE FLAG!!! This was last year, of course.
Most are black but some of the white players join because, I’ve been told, they are “coerced,” “we are a team ain’t we” by the blacks. Our local team looked fractured because of the tension. I will not go to any games this year. I can get the results on line.
