President Trumps campaign is canceling planned television ads in Ohio and Iowa for this week to instead focus funding in states where polls show the president trailing Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. The presidents reelection campaign canceled $2.5 million in ads in Ohio and $820,000 in ads in Iowa, according to ad-tracking firm CMAG, CNN reported Monday. This week will be the third week in a row without Trump TV ads in the two Midwestern states as polls show a deadlocked race between Trump and Biden.
A Sunday CBS-YouGov poll determined the candidates were tied in Ohio at 47 percent each, and a New York Times-Siena College poll late last month showed Biden at 45 percent and Trump at 42 percent in Iowa.

i think this is unwise, there should be plenty of money to keep ads in Ohio
which is usually considered an essential state
and
which has two major cities where there can be a ton of D election fraud to overcome
Internal polls are saying something else. Just what, I can’t tell.
He needs to get on the air here in PA.
Biden is running a slate of lies every five minutes it seems.
Interesting to note how polls might be designed to drive opposition add spending.
Obviously the campaign isn’t giving up on Ohio and Iowa, so they must believe they are in the bag.
A smart politician will NOT allow their internal polls to lie to them.
Trump is a hard-eyed realist and if you want to get on his bad side, hide bad news.
I assume this means he is honestly ahead in those 2 states no matter how the msm and lying pollsters say.
The other thing is Trump supporters, even middle of the road ones, are broken-glass voters.
Excellent news!
Why spend money in states that are a Trump lock on Election Day?
If msm polls show a deadheat, their internals are probably very good for Trump.
Yes, I was thinking he needs to put the ads in PA and MI.
I don’t watch tv or listen to radio, so the only way I can judge where ads are running is via FR reports and various news articles. I get the sense that Trump is getting outspent by a big margin on ad buys by Biden. Where is all the Biden money coming from? Why is Trump reportedly short on campaign budget? These are troubling signs, to say the least.
Nah. Ohio’s electoral votes are in for Trump. I garauntee it. If they don’t; fraud
You are reading and apparently taking at face value a report written for The Hill referencing a CNN report.
The Hill
CNN
The information may indeed be accurate, or maybe not. One would never know reading from these outlets.
He is way ahead in both. Got this from my contact last night. No surprise.
Left wing money came from the US Treasury in various schemes since 1993. They have an unlimited supply of money also from Soros.
I’d take as a good sign. Both States here crushed Hillary in in 2016 and I’d guess their numbers have them completely comfortable where they are at.
Would like to see where the money goes now.
That is my assumption as well. I just am not absolutely positive.
i think this is unwise, there should be plenty of moneyThe reason he has "plenty of money" is because he doesn't have people like you spending it for him.
Here in OH and tied in w/ campaign as a volunteer we see Ohio by 6-8%. He did not lose any votes in OH. Biden has really cut back on ads too, so move the money to where the battle is PA, MN, WI.
Maybe internals in Pa and Mi look good too. Pa has many more Reps since 2016, and the Dems are down. Plus folks hate Wolf, Dem Gov.
Dems in full panic mode.
