President Trump on Monday implored Americans not to allow the novel coronavirus to dominate your lives after returning to the White House from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he was treated for three days after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Dont let it dominate you. Dont be afraid of it. Youre going to beat it. We have the best medical equipment. We have the best medicines, all developed recently, Trump, who was not wearing a mask, said in a video message taped at the White House and disseminated on his Twitter account.
Dont let it dominate. Dont let it take over your lives. Dont let that happen, Trump continued.

Nobody that is a leader would not do what I did. And I know theres a risk, theres a danger, but thats OK. And now Im better. Maybe Im immune. I dont know. But dont let it dominate your lives. Get out there. Be careful. We have the best medicines in the world, Trump said.

Final Commemorative Coin for President Trump's First Term "President Donald J. Trump Defeats COVID"
But but but the New York Times said he was pretty much dead???!!! Did they get that wrong?
Hahahahahahaha. I hope no liberals harm themselves over this. That would be a shame. Really.
“...urged Americans not to fear the virus, which has killed more than 210,000 people into the United States and has resulted in millions losing their jobs.”
So it was Governor Virus that ordered all those businesses shut down? Is he a Democrat?
LOOOoooong past time to face and (literally) to embrace facts:”
COVID-19 is endemic.
Nothing short of full hazmat space suits can stop it.
Sooner or later:
We will ALL be exposed.
Many of us may show symptoms, mostly mild.
Some of us may get sick, and a subgroup may get really sick.
And a very FEW of us will die.
This is not the Bubonic Plague.
This is not the Spanish Influenza.
Tear off the face diaper and draw a deep breath...start building up your immune system!
NO!!!!
It’s Captain Trips!
/baby, can you dig your ‘mander
I have been following President Trump’s advice since the Covid-19 outbreak.
I’ve been at wedding receptions every weekend since the first of July when they restarted. If it’s any indication, I see few masks and the ones who do have abandoned them by the end of the evening. Saturday’s had 250 guests , at best 20 masks counting the bartenders. Before the dancing started all guests were on the dance floor for a group photo and maybe one in the photo.
Yep. That is what must happen.
There are worse societal issues stemming from this destruction of wealth in the world that have the potential to be far worse than the death toll from the virus.
Everything ranging from international tensions resulting in a conflict to food supply breakdowns.
We need to get on with life.
I don’t care about the virus Mr.President. I laugh in the face of danger.
I’ve been right there with you the whole time, Mr. President. While I know the virus can be dangerous to a certain segment of the population, I refuse to live in fear of it.
I've entered the 7th decade.
At this age and stage there isn't so much QUANTITY so I crave QUALITY!
Who's with me?
My favorite book. Read it the first time in 4th or 5th grade while I was deathly I’ll and stuck in bed for a week.
Preach on, Brother. I’m there. Bear with me, because this stuff makes me want grab people by the shoulders and give them a shake.
My poor wife. She is a bit younger than me, and tends to go along with everything, and I tend to buck it, with acid commentary. I know she is sick of my intransigence and wishes I would just put the mask on.
But I’ll be damned if I am going to spend the last decade or two of my life putting a mask on and taking it off, keeping it handy, seeing fear in people’s eyes when you get to close, not shaking a person’s hand, watching the faces of loved ones and strangers.
I think the adoption by many people of hand hygiene is a good thing. I have spent decades in health care washing my hands dozens of times a day for good reason. But I see this mask business, the separation, the rules, regulations, and rigidity quite differently.
I’m not going to do it. I am not going to spend the last years of my life, if I am lucky enough to live that long, engaging in this idiocy.
If this were the Black Death or something as deadly as that, they wouldn’t need to force people to wear masks, distance, or quarantine. People would be holed up in their houses with guns. But it isn’t.
And that unreasonable fear stems from a deeper societal problem I think we have been facing for a while, it is this infantile fantasy with total safety all the time in everything, for everyone.
I am sick and tired of living in a society where the media highlights every single person, researcher, politician, or organization that has the vapors about safety issues with everything involving everything from coronavirus, bb guns, bicycles, cars, monkey bars, wine, smoking, encephalitis, flesh eating bacteria, saturated fats, Alar, eggs, coffee, cats, dogs, flying, driving, keeping score in games, walking, exercising, peanuts, Big Wheels, Internet Usage, self esteem, asbestos, lead paint, you name it.
There is this freakish and odd fixation with total safety-the world will end if someone has a skinned knee or hurt feelings. They want to wrap not just kids, but people, all of us, up in bubble wrap.
We are all going to die. All of us. Nobody gets out alive. No one.
I am sick of living in a society where people have panic and fear written all over their faces about damn near anything. A kid has a BB gun in the background while taking part in a virtual lesson. The stupidity is astonishing. It is not too much to predict they would have the same response if there were a photograph there, or even a painting of a BB gun.
Dont go outside. Dont swim in the ocean. Dont do this. Dont do that. Conservatives are complicit in this too, but the lions share of this stupidity is the Left. Their mental illness is becoming contagious.
We see it with this idiotic mask crap, and there is more of this coming. See my Freep tagline-when I heard Candace Owens say it in her new book, it really struck me as the root.
It also brings to mind this quote from C.S. Lewis: Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under live robber barons than under omnipotent moral busibodies. The robber barons cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good, will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
Leadership.
Encourage us to be brave. Stay Calm and Carry On. THAT is what we need to hear.
Germs fear him!
Vive la resistance!
There are at least two of us at the barricades. my FRiend!
Wow.
I wish you would publish that somewhere that I could share the link to my terrified FB friends, it’s just that good.
