LOOOoooong past time to face and (literally) to embrace facts:”
COVID-19 is endemic.
Nothing short of full hazmat space suits can stop it.
Sooner or later:
We will ALL be exposed.
Many of us may show symptoms, mostly mild.
Some of us may get sick, and a subgroup may get really sick.
And a very FEW of us will die.
This is not the Bubonic Plague.
This is not the Spanish Influenza.
Tear off the face diaper and draw a deep breath...start building up your immune system!
NO!!!!
It’s Captain Trips!
/baby, can you dig your ‘mander
I’ve been at wedding receptions every weekend since the first of July when they restarted. If it’s any indication, I see few masks and the ones who do have abandoned them by the end of the evening. Saturday’s had 250 guests , at best 20 masks counting the bartenders. Before the dancing started all guests were on the dance floor for a group photo and maybe one in the photo.
Yep. That is what must happen.
There are worse societal issues stemming from this destruction of wealth in the world that have the potential to be far worse than the death toll from the virus.
Everything ranging from international tensions resulting in a conflict to food supply breakdowns.
We need to get on with life.
