On Friday afternoon, a 61-year-old Sedona woman, Julie Ann Engsberg, was cited and released for the theft of President Donald Trump and Senator Martha McSally campaign signs.
According to Cottonwood Police, the theft was reported on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 by a resident who saw Engsberg take some campaign signs from the corner of West Mingus Avenue and Airport Road and put them in her vehicle and drive away.
The resident followed Engsberg to Sedona where she made a stop at a local business. The resident was able to get pictures of the signs in the back of Engsberg’s vehicle. She was followed to her residence where video was taken of Engsberg removing the signs from her vehicle and placing them along the side of her garage.
Cottonwood investigators went to Engsberg’s residence on Friday, October 2, to follow-up with the report. The campaign signs were recovered. Engsberg admitted to taking the signs and claimed she stole the signs because she was going to put them up somewhere else. In addition, she was going to purchase “patriotic stickers” to decorate the signs. She also said her neighbor is a Trump supporter so she thought about giving one of the signs to him.
Engsberg was cited and released for tampering with political signs; a misdemeanor.
That is vandalism of private property.
Those signs cost money.

The confabulations that DemonRats come up with to cover their crimes are always amazing. There was one earlier today about the guy in Florida who requested an absentee ballot for his recently-deceased wife and said he was "just testing the system after hearing about ballot fraud."
Sick a Tibetan Mastiff or a Caucasian Shepherd Dog on the likes of these people. It would be fun to watch them get mauled.

When I saw the headline I thought it was my sister, who lives there. It turned out to be another hate-filled female.
I don't know about that. Being a Democrat, she has a high bar set for daily crime and malfeasance. I think this crime was just her warm-up act.
"Here, my Republican neighbor...would you like a new 'Trump' sign?" As if that wouldn't set off alarm bells with her neighbor.
She won’t pull any time but the good thing is since it is a misdemeanor charge she is stuck with hiring a lawyer which will cost her a grand or two to cop a lesser plea.She won’t be smiling when she writes that check. Love it

No I’ve taken down plenty of signs in my locale whenever somebody post something on public property that I disagree with trying to put forth a communist point of view ,for instance calling the charter people evil , I take it down. You are simply not on public property allowed to demean my fellow citizens who I agree with
Back in the early days of the George Floyd. There was a lot of communist propaganda going up and I regularly tore that down as well
communists are not allowed to simply use public property for their propaganda in my point of view

Pathetic excuse.
Sedona is very eclectic actually. They have their share of this type but not all by a long shot. We just spent a month there and l went to breakfast one morning and there were three of these crazy’s on a corner scowling and home made signs with rat slogans. I thought ok it’s Sedona you have to except it, Two days later I drove by the same corner and there were a bunch of us between 20 and 30 holding MAGA signs and having a great time.
