Biden may win, but itll probably be a squeaker. What will almost surely happen is he will win via vote fraud. Dems are cheating out in the open and pubbies are doing nothing....which is what they do best. If Biden does win in a 10 point blowout, that proves the USA as simply too stupid to survive.
BINGO!
I pray we win the election.
But President Trump is still talking about the last election.
And he has failed to put together a compelling attack on Biden. He reads the anti Biden lines without passion.
If he would look into that camera and speak to people on an emotional level he would have put Biden away in that debate. The style of just personally arguing with Biden instead of talking to the viewers is not effective.
Biden is a nothing. The election is about Trump and he needs to give the people greater inspiration.
I loved the debate, I love the Trump administration. Every supporter I talked to hated the debate. Are they fools? Yes. Does that win the election? No.
Too many people are indeed letting the democrats and BLM get away with it.
Just sayin’, of all the fake news media that hates Trump the most are NBC and Reuters. Ignore their efforts to brainwash and get out and vote.
Florida is not the problem.
This is registered voters and doesn’t mean a thing.
Two other polls show the race virtually tied.
Just because all the polls were wrong (rigged) last time doesn’t mean they aren’t wrong this time.
What polling firms did these? The IBD/Tipp poll released Friday had Biden up by 2.5%. It was the most accurate poll in 2016. Either these are garbage or IBD/Tipp is. There’s just no plausible way they can both be valid.
I hate to say this, but every single “rock ribbed Republican” I’ve talked with about the debate - and that’s quite a few people - think Trump totally blew it on Tuesday and came across way too hard and aggressive. I “get” that Freepers love the combative, take no ‘stuff’ from the media POTUS, but as I’ve been saying since pretty much the start of the campaign - POTUS needs to win the votes of the people outside of his base and outside of FR ALSO to win. And for the most part, the main thing he achieved on Tuesday was to get the base riled up - but we’re ALREADY riled up and “get” what’s at stake in this election. Unfortunately, he only further alienated “suburban women”, seniors, and those lower information voters who DON’T “get” what is at stake in this election.
Trump rarely if ever seems to recognize when he’s wrong on something. And this time, his approach to the debate and the very obvious lack of prep led to him blowing perhaps the best opportunity he had to sway the undecideds and independents.
Sadly, I ALMOST believe these new polls, although I do realize the usual games (surveying “Republicans” in deep blue areas, undersampling independents, etc, for example) have been played as they always are. We’re realistically way behind with many who don’t follow politics as closely as all of us here do, and it’s time Trump starts to realize that he needs more than the base and FR to win..
Don’t let this crap depress you...we still live in the greatest nation on earth and by God we’re going to fight for her.
So Trump is ahead of where he was in 2016?
I'll take some comfort in that, and just pray the pollsters have learned nothing -- zero -- in the past four years, making them just as wrong now as they were then.
How accurate were these 2 polls in 2016?
*************
Keep in mind the President isn’t elected by popular voter per se
but by state electoral college votes. The dem can get every vote
cast in states like NY, CA, etc and it won’t change the outcome.
Your first mistake is paying attention to polls.
Many Freepers have expressed that watching what campaigns do is many times a better indicator. The Biden campaign, in spite of scaring people for the past several months about COVID is finally starting door-to-door grass roots campaigning instead of relying on virtual campaign stuff. That tells me they are really getting concerned.
The Democrats, having scared everyone about COVID, are going to find bussing people from churches and nursing homes more difficult this year and their concentrated college vote is dispersed since the universities are all virtual.
Meanwhile the Trump campaign has been doing door-to-door outreach for a while now and has been reaching a large number of people.
The Senate will be a bloodbath no matter what happens with Trump.
Ive been predicting D+6 for months and it may go higher.
Are we the ones living inside a bubble?
Are we the ones that can not see reality?
This support for Biden (if true) has to be more a hate for President Trump then it is support for Biden (or Harris).
I don’t doubt that many (most?) urban areas and college campuses run 99% support for the Democrats but how does this translate into electoral votes?
This is why polls are worthless. Raw numbers are worthless (other than as propaganda).
The only poll that counts is on November 3rd.
Did anyone else notice from the Reuters’ “Poll”.....
“The Reuters/Ipsos poll was conducted online, in English, throughout the United States. It gathered responses from 1,005 U.S. adults, including 596 likely voters.”
Less than 60% of the poll were Likely Voters and it was done online....yeah, very scientific (sarc)!
And...
“the poll found that 65%, including 9 in 10 registered Democrats and 5 in 10 registered Republicans, agreed that if President Trump had taken coronavirus more seriously, he probably would not have been infected.
This is too funny I can’t believe they had the nerve to disclose this....they’re claiming that 50% of Registered Republicans think Trump didn’t take the virus serious?? Yeah right.
The polls are either wrong or you need to move your investments to cash."
Replace that last word with "bullets" and we'll do better. The ostriches who believe that any poll they don't like is 100% absolutely certain to be wrong could wind up discovering that denying reality for as long as possible doesn't make it any easier to face when they no longer have a choice.
Youre wrong according to post 25.
Most presidents lose the first debate, badly.
They then realize and rally next time. IF they listen.
I bet most of us here could have written Trump’s debate and given him a home run. But we can’t.
