A professor at Ohio State opted to take “anti-racist learning” after writing an article talking about his love of college football.
OSUniversity professor Matthew Mayhew wrote an article for Inside Higher Ed touting the virtues of college football...
Mayhew, a Higher Education professor at OSU, insisted that America’s universities should get back to “essentializing college football.”
“Essentializing college football might help get us through these uncharacteristically difficult times of great isolation, division, and uncertainty. Indeed, college football holds a special bipartisan place in the American heart,” Mayhew wrote. “At a time when colleges and universities have been placed under extreme scrutiny, many people are questioning the very value and purpose of higher education. College football reminds many Americans of the community values that underscore higher education and, by extension America itself.”
Yet, with this simple premise — that football should be brought back full force to make us all feel better — Mayhew was accused of “racism” and “white supremacy.”
In a groveling apology letter, Mayhew says that he has “learned” how racist he is from the backlash to his football article.
“I have learned that I placed the onus of responsibility for democratic healing on Black communities whose very lives are in danger every single day and that this notion of ‘democratic healing’ is especially problematic since the Black community can’t benefit from ideals they can’t access,” he continues. “I have learned that words like ‘distraction’ and ‘cheer’ erase the present painful moments within the nation and especially the Black community.
“I am sorry for the hurt, sadness, frustration, fatigue, exhaustion, and pain this article has caused anyone, but specifically Black students in the higher education community and beyond,” he writes. “I am struggling to find the words to communicate the deep ache for the damage I have done.’

That’s where I lost all sympathy for the man. He deserves all of the grief for being a coward.
Everything that a White person says and everything that a White person does is treated as evidence of their innate evil, with their innate evil being inextricable from their very existence as a White person.
Mayhew folded faster than a cheap card table.
When one race decides to kill all the other races around them, this stuff kind of fades away.
Perhaps the ‘extreme’ groveling says he’s under the gun to sustain his job more than what it appears to the blacks.
If Biden wins we will see this crap all over the place. President Harris and a Rat house and Senate and you can bet the thought police will come where you work mandating you take a class on white privilege.
No prof, you should have learned how racist blacks and their apologizers can be.
It’s too bad the absolute dolts who vote Dem do not see the future. They, like us, will be forced into re-reducation, have their calls, emails and social media monitored and criticized for not being “woke” enough, and they will be forced to pay reparations, eat tofu instead of beef and be prohibited from using air conditioning in the summer due to climate concerns.
Then they’ll say “Maybe that socialism thing wasn’t so gxood after all.” Too late as the Venezuelans and millions of dead Chinese under Mao found out.

The American cultural revolution moves forward. This is so close to the cultural revolution in China where people who made thinking errors had to sit with a large dunce cap on their head and apologize to the crowd for their mistakes and testify on themselves to save their lives. But there are Maoists running things these days so why expect any difference?
Where in his article does he mention race? So now you don’t even have to mention race to be accused of racism?
Culture is now considered race. It’s not about skin color anymore.
