NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The NYPD confirms Rick Moranis was randomly attacked by a stranger Thursday on the Upper West Side.
Police said it happened in broad daylight just before 7:30 a.m. on Central Park West near 70th Street.
Surveillance cameras captured the attack on the 67-year-old “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” and “Ghostbusters” actor.
Video shows the suspect walk up and punch Moranis in the head, knocking him to the ground.

Police said he went to the hospital with pain in his head, back and hip. He later visited the precinct to report the crime.
Now, the search is on for the suspect, who could be seen walking away.

Louis Farrakhan head of the Nation of Islam which hates white people. He has been involved in the murder of police officers. I suspect he is the one giving the orders to attack whites.
I think you misunderstood that post. I read it differently anyway. I don’t believe that proud American in Canada meant good men were rare, rather that a star in Hollywood doing something selfless like sacrificing his career for his kids was rare.
I understand. Sorry. I’m a bit upset about our President and you can read her post as a good man is a rarity.
Having posted I did see how it could be read in two ways. There are very few conservatives in Hollywood and anyone who stands up risks their career.

Listen I react the same way you did when I perceive similar blanket statements about men. Boomers too, millennials here tend to go for that. I just think it was poorly written. Hopefully the original poster will weight in.
