Something has changed at Drudge Report, the influential site known for its tabloid-poetry headlines and conservative take on the news, and don’t think the president hasn’t noticed.

The site has perhaps paid a price for jumping off the Trump train. It had 1.4 million unique visitors in August, down 42 percent from a year earlier, according to Comscore data provided by The Righting, which analyzes viewership of right-leaning outlets. Its audience has trailed that of the right-wing sites The Gateway Pundit and Daily Caller. New rivals looking to outdraw the once-fastest news-slinger on the web include Liberty Daily, Rantingly and NewsAmmo, The Washington Times noted.
Mr. Drudge, who rarely gives interviews, did not respond to requests for comment.

Meh. I was a Trump enemy in 2016. Now, for the second time in my life, I’ll be voting FOR a presidential candidate. The last time was 1980. And 1984 is missing on purpose.

Typical NYT reporting in that they neglect key details: That Drudge sold all or most of his eponymous site some time ago, when the stories started to change focus. Also, Drudge was never pro-Trump. Some thing that just a small amount of research could have revealed. But that would require honest journalism.

The propagandists at the NYT know Drudge went to the dark side over three years ago. This is just insulting.
Drudge has a family history of mental illness with his mother. And his father rejected him for being gay. And he had multiple relationships with older gay men when he was in high school who would pay for his out of state travel by air and train. So he’s a sick dude and easy blackmail target.
Funny how things go. I came HERE a while ago. What interested me? I was looking at Drudge when the Lewinsky fracas came to the surface (HOORAY Matt). I had read and heard a lot about Billy and knew what a POS he was. HOORAY Larry Nichols and others. I saw a link on Drudge that said “FREE REPUBLIC”. I was always interested in “free” (just kidding) Freedom and the Republic. I said, OK that sounds interesting, I’ll check that out.
Funny how things go. The twists and turns and dead ends in the roads we travel.

According to Drudge Revolution book, Drudge had homo crush on Jared Kushner and that was the reason for favorable Trump coverage in 2016.
