LOL! Your hubby sounds a lot like mine. Gets something home but then it just sits in the box forever.
The garage in this house has one vent from the central unit so it gets a little cool or warm air in there all year. It stays warm enough during winter that the plants do fine. I wish I could bring them in the house but they won’t survive this herd of cats.

We did and also I got my flu shot as promised and advertised yesterday. The first pic in this set will show where they injected it. Thankfully they had plenty of people there to help out. It didn't take too long.
I had to change the Sonic to my location because it wanted to take me to the one in Duncan, I wanted the one in Comanche. Duncan was where I was where to flu shot clinic took place yesterday.
Here are all the pics from yesterday.

Oh, yeah...cats and dirt. Everything is a litter box to them. LOL! That’s great that the plants have a “home” that keeps them from dying, though.

Darn! You never get to see the full moon! Maybe it’ll peek out for a bit at some point.
That picture is a screenshot I snagged of a beach on Long Island. It was breathaking. Especially with the sound of the waves...which can’t be captured in a picture.

Thanks, Kathy and BTW folks I have just now set an appointment with the Ford place up in Duncan for the 2006 Ford Ranger pickup. It's due for the 95,000 mile checkup.
The appointment will happen later this month.

It isn’t that the cats scratch in the dirt in the pots. They destroy the plants, period. I gave up on having plants in the house looooooong ago.
Th two big plants, I inherited after Mom died and have managed to keep them going over 20 years. Two other plants were Aunt Clara’s and I held on to them because I like them. Since no one lived in this house since I’ve been at the farm, I just put them in the living room. But now that we live in the house, they had to spend winters somewhere else. The garage worked out well so that’s where they’ll winter from here on out.

There are mostly evergreens around me but the rest are turning color. The Cameron fire got about 13 miles form me and everyone was encouraged to leave under voluntary evacuation. The fire took a 6,000 acre run in one day and now is over 126,000 acres. At least it cooled down form the 80s.

I had a bunch of make-up lessons today and lots of errands...But Penny was content with her new bed and lots of treats. :-)
She doesn’t look a day older!
