A federal appeals court on Tuesday upheld a lower court ruling that extended the deadline for counting mail-in ballots in Wisconsin until Nov. 9 as long as they are postmarked by the Nov. 3 election, AP reports.
Why it matters: It's a big win for Democrats that also means that the winner of Wisconsin, a key presidential swing state, may not be known for six days after the election. Republicans are likely to appeal the ruling to the Supreme Court, as the Pennsylvania GOP did after a similar ruling on Monday.
Appeal to scotus
2020 has been a thoroughly crappy year.
Glad to read they will likely appeal.
Why not present the case to the court with the honest wording “For as many days as it takes for fake ballots to be “found” for the glorious victory of the Dems in the results.”/S
Marxists planning to use the “New Math” are they?
the betrayal begins, one of the judges dissenting was appointed by Trump (by way of Federalist society)
all the decisions will go to SCOTUS.
Bad news. There sits the 4-4 SC. It also means every one of the rat state that pushed through post election vote counting will get it. They will know exactly how many votes they will need. Its outrageous they have a month to get their votes on time this court has just green lit the cheating.
appeal
Tough one IMO.
Lots of opportunity for cheating, but people who vote lawfully- but have to mail because their state government is bad- deserve to have their legal vote counted.
3 days would be more appropriate.
Its a good thing that there are no dishonest postal workers or Postal Service union officials with access to postmark equipment on which they can set the date. /sarc
this has to be overturned ASAP to prevent massive D vote fraud and also because all of America have a right to know the results of our election without this unnecessary and illegal delay

It’s not tough. The law says election day. The courts don’t get to make up their own election laws.
They know that postal machines can be backdated.
Changing rules in the middle of the game. Appeal to SC in about a month after Barrett is on the bench.
U.S. District Judge William Conley, appointed by Obama.
So now the courts are deciding the election rules instead of the legislature?
Any Repub. legislature should say screw the court decision...we will abide by and follow the Constitution, which says we enact election law and anybody that has a problem with that can take us to court after the election.
