Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden holds a narrow lead over President Trump, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris poll, released exclusively to The Hill one day before the first presidential debate.
Forty-seven percent of likely voters said they would vote for Biden if the election were held today, while 45 percent said they would back Trump. The survey marks a 3-point improvement for Trump and a 2-point decline for Biden from the last poll that was conducted in August.
Well, except for the leftist Quinipiac.

We will see what happens after Biden chickens out of tonights debate.
I would give anything to see Biden completely bomb in tonight’s debate to the point where not even the MSM can hide it. I don’t think that’s going to happen, otherwise the debate would have been cancelled.
78% of all statistics are made up on the spot. 99% of all polls are too.
Not accounting for the fraud, polling that close in a national poll means that the Democrats have lost the Electoral College.
But you have to account for the fraud. It’s so widespread, they’re not even bothering to deny it anymore. They just ignore it or call it a “hiccup”.
wow
i bet libs are starting to wet the bed
Except for the ridiculous Fox poll.
It’s a toss-up. I’ve been saying that for months. People in my circle say “why would anyone vote for someone with obvious cognitive issues”. But the real deal is the same as always: The dems will turn out their machine (special interest groups, minorities, etc). Republicans will turn out individual voters. I believe that the hero of this election will be slightly higher black and Latino turnout for the Rs.
Either way, this election will be one fat, ugly dumpster fire that won’t be officially decided until Dec. It will go to whoever has the best legal team. Advantage Trump. I’m hopeful. These polls are sh-t.
it would be great to see a flameout...but i agree. it won’t happen.
Everything is a snapshot in time.
Last week Rasmussen had Trump’s approval as high as 53 percent and today it’s 47 percent.
By week’s end it could be 53 again.
But it doesn’t really matter.
Not approving of someone doesn’t mean you’re not gonna vote for them.
There’s Rs that don’t approve of Trump for some stupid reason but will still vote for him.
Then there are those who are afraid to say they approve.
And Trump voters are gonna pour out to vote and I can’t imagine there is a lot of enthusiasm for the living dead man.
Hell I don’t like to get off the couch and I already have plans to take my elderly mother and 2 elderly aunts to vote.
Trump will win because he is a winner.
It’s refreshing for a change
My money is still on “unexpected power outage”.
How? He draws about 5 people at his rally’s, never comes out of his basement and they want us to believe hes ahead in the polls. Idiots
Is there anyone that hasn’t decide which way they are going to vote at this point? You are either for him or against him - (whichever him you choose). The debates will change nothing imo.
It will all come down to whose turnout is better and who cheats more.

A recent Biden campaign event in a liquor store parking lot saw 5-6 people show up to hear Jill speak.
Where are the party regulars? The elected locals...the people expected to get the vote out?
There is no enthusiasm at the grassroots level for Biden. Clearly, he intends to win w/ voter fraud.
horse feathers!
I've seen this movie.
Believe this, if there was any chance Joe or whoever this actor is was going to totally screw the pooch the debate would not be taking place. I don’t know what they have done here but the rats take no chances.
That Biden is doing this well proves the death grip satan has on the US.
Biden is up 9 points in PA - poll release today. I quit. Does anyone have a bridge to sell?
