I don’t doubt it. All I know is that she wasn’t able to reel him in.
Everything We Know About The Fighting That Has Erupted Between Armenia And Azerbaijan
Renewed fighting over a long-standing territorial dispute could have broader implications, with Russia and Turkey supporting the opposing sides.

Deluding yourself about the truth does you no good in the end. And a cocky F-16 pilot who thinks as you do that goes into a gunfight with a late mark SU-30 won’t be coming back.
Time marches on; you’re like the guy that goes to the track with his heavily modded 80s Corvette and says that it’ll beat anything ever and promptly gets owned by... some family’s minivan.

I’ll have to do some research/reading on the two.
Thanks for the info.
Not a pilot, just an admirer.
:)
i love how the Russian girl put her head down for the shot in the vid i sent you
“I suspect that Turkey is about to be short some F-16s courtesy of the Armenian Air Forces four SU-30s.”
I seriously don’t think that the F-16’s have anything to fear regarding the SU-30’s.
The F-16 can take a 9G turn and out turn any 4th or 5th Generation fighter out there. If its up to recent NATO Specs it should have decent AIM-120 AMMRAM Missiles along with some decent AIM 9 Sidewinders.
That plane will run rings around any other Aircraft in the hands of a good pilot.
You may want to go look at the specs of the SU-30MKI, MK2 and SM, the last of which is what the Armenians bought. The SU-30 is a supermanueverable fighter and in exercises it out turns the F-16 - the Indians routinely exercise with US forces in their SU-30MKIs. The SU-30 also has integrated off axis launch capability and IR look-down-shoot-down capability, neither of which the F-16 of that type has.
SU-30s also have the R-77/AA-12 Adder missiles that outrange the AMRAAM missiles that Turkey has.
Yeah, saw that. Then again, Russian women have some history as combat tank crew, too...
As for the SU-25, it could be espionage, it could be parallel design evolution, it could be both.
“The Turks didnt kill enough of them in 1915?”
No, that’s why they continued to slaughter them up into the early 1920s.
“BUT .... what if Turkey looks likely to annihilate Azerbaijan, an ally of Russia (assuming the Commonwealth of Independent States still exists)?”
Why would Turkey want to do that? Turkey is on the side of Azzerbaijan, and is hostile towards Armenia.
Well yes, but it seems like things change so quickly over there .... BFFs today can turn into mortal enemies tomorrow. That’s one of the things I wonder about the most.
Obviously I need to get out more. LOL :-)
The first indication an F-16 pilot would have that he’s facing an F-22 is when the missile lock warning sounds. After that, if he’s an amazing pilot with superhuman reflexes, he’ll have enough time to eject before he dies.
She killed Keith Whitley essentially
A bad girl
Always the most fun ...those
I enjoyed "The Dawns Here Are Quiet", they made a series too a few years ago.
I didn’t realize Whitley had actually been married to Morgan. She was a high stepper. To say SHE drove him to the bottle might have a grain of truth in it. Thanx.
Thanks. Just the info I was hoping to find.

I am told that while “Fighting Girlfriend” is a technically correct literal translation of the name of her tank, a more correct translation is “Sister In Arms”.
Its more than that he knew she was blanking around on him the night he drank himself to death
Shes deadly
But so hot
Sorta not guilty
While they both survived a surprisingly long time in battle, neither she nor her original tank would live long enough to make it to Berlin. But there was *a* Fighting Girlfriend that fought all the way to Berlin, an IS-2 heavy tank crewed by survivors of the original.
