Biden campaign asking for two breaks during the 90 minute commercial free showdown.................
CLEVELAND -- President Trump is asking for an additional ground rule ahead of Tuesday night’s first presidential debate between himself and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Fox News has learned that the president’s re-election campaign wants the Biden campaign to allow a third party to inspect the ears of each debater for electronic devices or transmitters. The president has consented to this kind of inspection, but Biden has not, so far, sources said.
Over the last several weeks, the former vice president's campaign has also requested two breaks -- one every 30 minutes -- to break up the 90-minute commercial-free program. But that request has been denied by their Trump counterparts, Fox News is told.

The first debate of 2008 between 0bama and McCain at the University of Mississippi, I remember well. Before the debate started, 0bama was caught live on local Public Broadcasting gesturing that his ear piece wasn’t working. There was never a peep from anyone on either side about it.

The president travels with a team that preps the area he would appear in to make sure it’s clear of bugs and other spy devices. Jamming might be an option, collection and public release of any signals broadcast during the debate might also be an option.
Ear inspection will not catch a bone-conduction mike in a pocket or elsewhere on the body.
Trump knows he won't stop that. It's all about putting the other side on notice and off pace...

Even Hillary could debate for 90 minutes without a break. I can’t recall any debates with scheduled breaks.
At the start, DJT should casually, off the cuff, suggest he and Biden pledge allegiance to the flag. There will be one on stage, and why not?
That alone will throw Biden off his game for the entire debate.
Even if (Big IF) Biden successfully recites the pledge this time, he will think - throughout the entire debate - that the whole world knows how he just screwed up the pledge last week (for real) and that alone will mess with his mind and preoccupy his whole thought process for the entire debate.
