She became "famous" for her increasingly shrill dissents which were entirely political and divorced from actual jurisprudence. Kagan has already had more impact -- and has worked with conservatives on several rulings -- in a short time than RBG ever did.
Everyone is missing the real point. Those tragi-comic reactions have nothing to do with RBG. All the screeching about RBG’s “dying wish” has nothing to do with RBG herself.
The reaction is to the feared loss of Roe v Wade and that is all there is to it. RBG just happens to be the ‘Casey at the bat’ who struck out by not retiring under Obama.
