A year in prison for defying Lockdown Larry's stay at home orders? This has to be unconstitutional.
It HAS GOT TO BE!
This virus cr*pola has got to STOP.
he acts like had had the right to freedom of speech or peaceful assembly or something. He needs to go back and read the Constitution.
MD ping!
Ridiculous! My son in Miami is so happy. Republican Governor DeSantis just lifted up all restrictions for businesses including no mandatory mask and no fines of any kind. My son is at his gym which is fully functioning and no masks required. I hope Governor Abbott will do the same in Texas!
Criminal government.
JoMa
That is what socialists and communists do.
Next it will be life in prison for watering your grass.
You just cannot defy your master.
Just say it’s a peaceful protest
None of thesr posters know sht about the situation. The guy had a party the week before and gave the cops an argument, the next week he did it again. He’s a neighborhood nuisance, and the courts are familiar with him and his records. The governor put out an emergency order. If you cant follow your elected officials you are no better than the blm, antifa etc. You dont like the governor, then elect someone else. Don’t be a douch.
This is the guy Jeb Bush wanted to primary Trump in 2020. One more reason Jeb is not a real conservative.
“The governor put out an emergency order. If you cant follow your elected officials you are no better than the blm, antifa etc.”
Sorry, not how it works. The Gov of PA was sued and just had all of his lockdown orders thrown out as unconstitutional.
I would recommend an appeal on 1st amendment freedom to assemble grounds
Exactly! Some people just blindly march to the Marxist drum beat.
There needs to be a reckoning.
Freedom of association this is terrible I hope somebody shoots him
You sound like you enjoy living under tyranny without regard to our constitutional rights.
Gov. Hogan sued, plaintiffs call his stay-at-home order ‘unconstitutional’
Larry being sued as well. I don’t know what the outcome is but Delegate Parrott released the following in a statement:
‘Threatening a legislator with arrest for exercising his first amendment right to free speech is not only unconstitutional, it is wrong. We live in a Republic, and I want to make sure that no one person in Maryland or in any other state of the nation should be able to have unchecked power.’
The lawsuit is asking for a preliminary injunction against the executive stay home order and ultimately, a temporary restraining order keeping the Governor and state from enforcing a large portion of the stay at home order.
If you want to see something really off the wall, look at the Colorado governors latest restrictions on college kids living off campus in Boulder. Its practically house arrest - a three person limit on gatherings, restrictions as to how far you can leave your house and how often, and even a ban on Ubers or other means of escape. And if they are caught violating it, they are literally confined to their homes, cant go outside and it really is house arrest. And while the police were not allowed to do anything about rioters all over CO, theyre expected to enforce this stuff to the letter.
I honestly dont see why people in CO arent out in the streets in protest.
