Gov. Hogan sued, plaintiffs call his stay-at-home order ‘unconstitutional’
Larry being sued as well. I don’t know what the outcome is but Delegate Parrott released the following in a statement:
‘Threatening a legislator with arrest for exercising his first amendment right to free speech is not only unconstitutional, it is wrong. We live in a Republic, and I want to make sure that no one person in Maryland or in any other state of the nation should be able to have unchecked power.’
The lawsuit is asking for a preliminary injunction against the executive stay home order and ultimately, a temporary restraining order keeping the Governor and state from enforcing a large portion of the stay at home order.
Praying That We The People in Maryland will win this one!
The lawsuit is awaiting a ruling in the court of appeals.
