Fake conservatives is correct. They are neocons that found a voice with conservatives and thus left the Democrat Party. So they have just gone back to where they now have a voice, albeit a shorter-lived voice then they enjoyed with conservatives. For them it’s all about where they can make money without actually having to work for it. They could care less about this country at all. Some say they are traitors but they never had any real allegiance to begin with. They are all about enriching themselves, period. They’re hucksters, plain & simple.
