TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Nearly two-thirds of United States residents under the age of 40 don’t know that 6 million Jewish people were killed in the Holocaust, a new survey found.
In one of the most comprehensive studies of American understanding of the Holocaust, some of the most important details of the genocide were lost among young adults in the United States.
No really sure why Florida got singled out, since other states have similar or worse results.
I’d bet even more don’t know they live on a peninsula.

Try reading the HOLOCAUST CHRONICLES, it specifically addresses the FACT that at least 7 to 10 million (nobody is really sure) other people died in the DEATH and LABOR CAMPS of the NAZIS, and this excludes reprisals against civilians in the ETO.
The main reason the numbers are not clear is no one knows how many civilians were MURDERED FOR VARIOUS REASONS in the Baltic States, the Balkan States, the Eastern Front States and the European Theater of War in general.
GYPSIES, POLISH INTELLECTUALS and MILITARY OFFICERS, RUSSIAN PRISONERS OF WAR, ALLIED PRISONERS OF WAR, FRENCH RESISTORS, GREEK CIVILIANS, ITALIAN CIVILIANS, and the list goes on!
Try reading some real history of the World War, preferably books written prior to 1962.
And a direct answer to your question is NO, not only Jews count; but they were SPECIFICALLY TARGETED FOR EXTERMINATION!

Jay Leno used to do something called “Jay-Walking” where he’d ask basic ass questions and idiots didn’t know the answer. I’m sure (I hope!) most people knew the answers and they only showed the funny morons but this was stuff EVERYONE who can tie their own shoes should know.
People in 1960 would know, I bet even HS students in the worst segregated schools would know.
But ask Florida’s young adults about (insert gangsta whore singer)’s latest hit single about guzzling man juice and I bet they would get it in a second.
The same problem existed years ago, prior to the miniseries The Holocaust. And when that was broadcast on German TV, there was a public outcry which resulted in a change in education and elimination of some statutes of limitation. By the 1960s, German schoolchildren were learning merely that "anti-Jewish measures were intensified". That's akin to, "the Elephant Man had a little puffiness around the eyes."
Interesting enough, in Israel for the first 10-20 years, the subject of The Holocaust was rarely talked about, there was even some resentment there of Holocaust survivors, because of the perception that they just let it happen without fighting back.
And then came The Eichmann Trial, and that all changed.
How many know of the Soviet atrocities, like Katyn?
Uh, I doubt it.
My fear is that the scope of the Holocaust museums will "expand" to include BLM-type stuff.
