Perhaps gay* men are tired of being lumped in with lunatics like transsexuals and “gender fluids.” Also, gay men tend to relatively high income and are no more fond of paying large amounts of it over to the government than the rest of us.

Trump wins on the white vote, specifically the blue wall states. He has to point out that he never got a first term, and the work of getting jobs and a future back to the American working class is not done, and barely got started due to Rat party obstruction.
THAT will bring in another 20% of the electorate.

This is real. A lesbian acquaintance is backing Trump. A lot of these folks are scared by the looting, violence and lawlessness. The folks are sexual revolutionaries (deviants) but are not Bolsheviks. They don’t want their businesses trashed. They don’t want anarchy.
Not seeing it, but I wonder if Trump will improve on the 14% of the LGBT vote he received in 2016. Of course, every LGBT group vehemently denied Trump received that much despite all exit polls, including from CNN, stating it as such.

Gay men are at the forefront of gentrification. Without kids, and being risk-takers generally, they are typically the vanguard of white incursions into black urban areas that are desirable from a logistical and/or natural surroundings (proximity to a park, pond or other amenity) standpoint. By actively goading black and white undesirables into arson, looting, robbery and murder, and setting miscreants loose even after apprehending them, Democrat pols are turning many gay male urban enclaves into unlivable war zones. And that may be what many gay males are reacting to.
Suddenly the LGBT thought police are worried about morals.
