A total of eight deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office heard the jarring blasts of an AR-15 rifle and failed to enter the school and confront Nikolas Cruz as he roamed the halls shooting students and staff. Cruz killed 17 people and injured another 17.

Two school employees did confront Cruz and they were killed. The big failure was nobody called a Code Red, which means everybody goes into a classroom and the doors are locked, which would have saved lives.

The real issue is the School Board and the Sheriff that intentionally kept Cruz from being arrested. These are the a-holes that should be in prison on multiple manslaughter convictions.
