ALBANY — Gov. Andrew Cuomo explained Tuesday how he called actor Paul Rudd in a desperate attempt to help him wrangle a new video urging millennials to comply with New York’s coronavirus mask mandate.
“My frustration is younger people. College kids coming back from college, they all want to have a party, they all want to drink, younger people at protests are not wearing a mask, they think they’re invincible,” the third-term Democrat explained on Long Island News Radio.
“For months, the great challenge is how to get the young people.”
Then he got an idea.

All Cuomo wants to do is party.
Paul Rudd isn’t a millennial. He’s old enough to have millennial children, though his children are much younger than that. Rudd is over 50. Bizarre. Maybe next De Blasio can get help from those Beatles fellers the young folks are so crazy about!
The kids are smarter than the governor...mask do nothing but slow the spread...
How many are in the hospital?
For all intents and purposes, when it comes to coronavirus young people are invincible. It is not a threat to them basically at all unless they have some very serious health problems already.

The actual data from NYS as of today, shows that 118 people out of 25,395 who died of COVID19 in Cuomo-land were below the age of 30.
They may not be invincible, but college kids can do basic math and smell a scam when they see it.

I have heard locally (Buffalo, NY) that Cuomo is under psychiatric care for severe paranoia.
What’s missing from the article is how much taxpayer money Cuomo wasted on this. He doesn’t do anything unless he can waste our tax dollars, and somebody gets a kickback out of it.

College kids know that Covid is harmless to them but they don’t want to be associated with what they consider to be Trump Boomers who are anti-mask. Their compromise is to use the mask as a virtue signal. They wear it in public but they still party without it.
