KEENE New Hampshires first trans, anarchist, Satanic candidate for county sheriff says shes not getting a lot of support from the Republican Party.
I cant imagine theyre happy about this, said Aria DiMezzo.
DiMezzo, who is running as a Republican with the campaign slogan F*** the Police, said Friday she hasnt had any help or support for the county or state GOP. DiMezzo won the Republican nomination for Cheshire County Sheriff Tuesday night running unopposed in the primary. Shell now square off with popular incumbent Democrat Eli Rivera, who is running for his fifth term.
Marylin Huston, Cheshire County GOP chair, congratulated her on her victory. Huston consistently referred to DiMezzo as he during the interview, despite the candidate identifying as female.
He did very well with the primary and that was wonderful, Huston said.
DiMezzo comes from the Free Keene group of Libertarian activists that produced Nobody, a gubernatorial candidate who changed his name from Rich Paul to Nobody. She also hosts an internet radio show where she is referred to as She-Male. Free Keene started as an off-shoot of the Free State Project of Libertarians, but the Free State Project has since distanced itself from Free Keene.
Huston said DiMezzo only ran as a Republican because of problems getting Libertarian candidates on the ballot. Huston said DiMezzo never showed up to the GOP meetings and candidate events, even though she was invited.
Aria really came into the Republican party because he was unable to get onto a Libertarian ballot, Huston said.
DiMezzo signed up to run as a Republican two days before the deadline when she found out long-time Republican candidate Earl Nelson was not running. DiMezzo said she would be willing to be more supportive of the GOP agenda if the party was supportive of her.
Theyre clearly not on my side, DiMezzo said.
There was an effort in Rindge to write Nelson in as a candidate after concerns were raised on social media about DiMezzos gender, religious beliefs, and politics. Nelson got more than 200 write-in votes on Rindge on Tuesday night.
People of Rindge did a phenomenal job. Very well done, DiMezzo said.
There was no concerted effort to keep DiMezzo from getting the nomination, Huston said, though Huston heard from many people who wanted to write in a different candidate instead of DiMezzo.
I guess thats just part of the whole political scene, Huston said.
Huston said DiMezzo is welcome to be part of the GOP, but some people may have disagreed with her positions.
If you look at their social media and their political statements they really do not fall in line with the Republican message, Huston said.
DiMezzo said the GOP in Cheshire County has only itself to blame for her candidacy. She ran in 2018 as a Libertarian and got around three percent of the vote.
I shouldnt have won this freaking primary. I should have gotten crushed, DiMezzo said.
DiMezzo wants to end the prosecution of drug crimes, sex work, illegal immigration, and anything else that she says do not have an actual victim. She said in a lot of ways, shes to the left of Rivera.
Im more liberal than he is, DiMezzo said. Theres tons of things people get fined for, arrested for, that dont actually have any victims.
New Hampshires RNC Committeeman Chris Ager declined to comment.
I wrote-in Deputy Abrams.
A REALLY good guy in every way, and on the right side of ALL the issues.
Still to the right of McCain and Romney, and more principled than at least half of the Bushes.
Now wait, that's loser talk right there. Keep that (enormous) chin up, big fella or whatever the hell you are.
He/She/it might consider moving to San Francisco to “blend in”!
Chief Heather Fong is the first SFPD female, lesbian chief of police.
Theresa Sparks, a former male, is president of the San Francisco Police Commission, and CEO of a multi-million dollar sex toy retailer, and a transgender woman.
Sgt. Stephan Thorne, a former female, is the first transgender male SFPD police officer.
Where else are you going to find an Asian lesbian police chief, one deputy chief who is a woman who was a man, another deputy chief who is a man who was a woman, and a police commissioner who was a man is now a woman and whose full-time job is running a dildo store?
Their Representative in Congress is Nancy Pelosi!
You cannot make this stuff up!!!
I don’t even have a witty snark for this thing.
I’m nearly speechless.
[OMG]
The term Rhino doesn’t quite cover it...need a stronger term along those lines.
The departments budget might get all spent on leather...
Thats a man, baby...
He/She/It is still better looking that the mayor of Chicago.
You’re right. It DOES look like John Kerry.
Insane!
I’m sure this thing will enforce the law... /s
I find the satanic part most disturbing.
Not crazy about the language, either.
Pray for it, that it might change its ways.
Looks like the serial killer on Silence of the Lambs. He probably watches it each night...
And folks wonder why I don’t vote....
Buttplugs for everyone...everyone gets a butt plug...says Oprah...what could go wrong?
They are an affront to any real form of "justice". If some ephemeral notion of "societal harm" is enough to make someone a criminal, even though no one else in said Society was an actual victim, then you are by definition engaging in Socialism.
But...
Come on dude. Really?
“I shouldnt have won this freaking primary. I should have gotten crushed, DiMezzo said.
“DiMezzo won the Republican nomination for Cheshire County Sheriff Tuesday night running unopposed in the primary.
I’m sure you can find 301 idiots to vote for someone running unopposed. (There was that setback write in of 300 votes for someone else.) But let’s face it, if you lose a primary you are running unopposed, your career is over. Why didn’t someone run against him/her/whateveritis?
