New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday said he would not reopen indoor dining in New York City despite the infection rate being less than one percent for weeks in a row now because, he said, it would double the number of bars currently open and there is no one to enforce social distancing standards.
The reasoning came after a conglomerate of bar and restaurant owners sued the state for $2billion in damages, claiming they were being unfairly shackled and stopped from making money.
New York City - which has more bars and restaurants than any other city in the US - remains the only metropolis in the world that is yet to resume indoor dining.

If the bar/restaurant is closed...nothing is being of public use.

I said, on another thread, yesterday, that it’s as if these Govs/Mayors don’t even fear being voted out....as if they’re confident they’ll either be cheated in, or....there won’t be elections for them to have to worry about.
A lot of people believe ‘how go CA and NY, so goes the rest of the country’.
What is the end goal of these two states/Govs, to put SO MANY businesses and PEOPLE out of work??
What kind of living h3ll are they trying to create?

I used to think even New Yorkers weren't so worthless and asininely stupid as to accept anything the Dems gave them. I was wrong. A little complaining and then "I'm voting Dem again. Have voted Dem all along for years. I'll do it again."
Two possibilities, and they’re not mutually exclusive.
1) Cuomo’s trying to dent the GDP.
2) Cuomo is serving the interests of people who want to buy up some NYC real estate on the cheap.
I thought it was CommieCuomo, himself, that was seen either entering, or leaving, some NY Italian restaurant.
Great possibilities. I wouldn’t put EITHER past ANY Dem.
Also....where are the lawsuits being filed, on behalf of these restaurants, against these Govs??
Where’s the Restaurant Association, on all of this? I haven’t heard a peep.
It would seem some injunctions could be filed, by now.

A few Saturdays ago Cuomo sent out LE and bureaucrats to visit over 1,000 businesses across the state to scare the hell out of them.
All that manpower spent to terrorize the private sector.
Looks like it worked.
Maybe that is what Cuomo wants==that NY’ers pay HIM protection money to open . He is Mafia after all, Pelosi too.
