Former White House national security adviser John Bolton said in comments published Friday that he never heard President Trump refer to slain American soldiers buried at a French cemetery as "losers" and "suckers," after the allegations were made in a bombshell report published on Thursday.
"I didn't hear that," Bolton told the New York Times. "I'm not saying he didn't say them later in the day or another time, but I was there for that discussion."
Bolton's remarks came after Trump himself denied any allegations of disrespectful comments toward American soldiers killed in comment, which were first reported by The Atlantic's editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg.
"I would be willing to swear on anything that I never said that about our fallen heroes," Trump said to the press as he was exiting Air Force One early Friday. "There is nobody that respects them more. So, I just think it's a horrible, horrible thing...no animal, nobody, what animal would say such a thing."
The Atlantic reported that Trump bailed on his appearance at Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in 2018 due to concerns that rain would dishevel his hair.

The MSM badly wants this story to have legs. I bet they thought about Bolton immediately to help their cause.
Johnny Bolton didn’t get much of a ‘popularity bounce’ from his book. Most people are done talking about him already.
Maybe he’s talking to his wife:
“Honey, has anybody from NBC, CBS or ABC called today about setting up another interview? I may have missed them on email.”

Trump must have made fun of him to his face. That is the only reason why Bolton could be so angry.
And this is not a new story. This was talked about at the time—and the whole thing was about the helicopter not being able to fly in the weather.
My guess is this was started through a bunch of reporters and low level D Bags who were at the cemetery—who were pissed because they were stood up.

What Book???? The comments about Trump saying “dead solider’s are suckers” sounds to me like a Fake military office who ant got the guts to speak up or stand up....total bullshit.
I recall at the time there were threats made against Trump that security was worried about. It had nothing to do with Trump not wanting to be in the rain.
And the Biden Campaign is leaning into this story. How ugly!

If Bolton wasn’t there to hear what Trump said, and the media wasn’t there to hear what Trump said, and if the Atlantic wasn’t there to hear what Trump said, and if Biden wasn’t there to hear what Trump said, then, he’s guilty of saying what they all didn’t know anything about.

Saw a post over at Democratic Underground this morning titled ‘so, how many are talking about Pelosi’s hair today?’, referencing this comment of Trump’s.
I bet they were saving this for a little later, but between the Pelosi story and the shooting of the Antifa guy, it had to be trotted out now.
Bolton also said it was a “Straight up weather call” that is why the helicopter never flew..but never fear, the commie media will still roll with this bogus LIE even though pretty much everyone has refuted it..the commie media is ALL IN, in their minds, this is their last election..their last chance to turn America communist, if they cant win now it will never happen
