A troubled woman obsessed with badger culls jumped off a cliff with her beloved dogs after suffering with poor mental health, an inquest has heard.
The bodies of 45-year-old Carla Kidd and her two dogs were found along the Cornwall coastline after she was reported missing.
They were discovered on the morning of November 28 following a search along the coast between Hells Mouth and Portreath.
Carla, who had been living in a tent in near Penzance, had suffered from 'paranoid and manic' behaviour for years.
The inquest in Truro was told animal-loving Carla used to believe she was being followed and drove around attempting to find people shooting badgers, Cornwall Live reports.

I feel sorry for the woman and the dogs but that made me laugh.
But why did the dogs jump too? They missed going after the badgers?
Incompetent pirates will do that to you.
People like this used to get the help they needed. Now they just let ‘em loose in the street.
Near as I can tell this happened last year but the inquest into this just wrapped up with their findings so it made the news.
I hope she took a double bounce for taking those poor dogs with her. Psycho.
Poor dogs.

now i see
They are going to replace the badger cull with medicines to prevent bovine Tb which the badger cull is supposed to accomplish as well but does not according to “studies” and “boffins”.
She died in vain. Poor dogs.
I feel very sad that she felt her dogs had to die too.
You want to off yourself, fine. But you didn’t have to take the dogs with you.
An alternate hypothesis - she didn’t kill herself, and she didn’t take the dogs with her.
Note, she thought she was being followed around. It is more significant to some than you would think if you don’t know what is out there.
Apparently either the news is really slow to get out or this takes place in the future.
