A troubled woman obsessed with badger culls jumped off a cliff with her beloved dogs after suffering with poor mental health, an inquest has heard.
The bodies of 45-year-old Carla Kidd and her two dogs were found along the Cornwall coastline after she was reported missing.
They were discovered on the morning of November 28 following a search along the coast between Hells Mouth and Portreath.
Carla, who had been living in a tent in near Penzance, had suffered from 'paranoid and manic' behaviour for years.
The inquest in Truro was told animal-loving Carla used to believe she was being followed and drove around attempting to find people shooting badgers, Cornwall Live reports.

This is what socialized medicine will do for ya....
The herd has a way of thinning itself out.
Vulnerable people adapt the neuroses of their society. In the olden days women would complain about being possessed by the devil and seeing witches everywhere and now they complain about social justice and seeing patriarchy everywhere.
Lot of pirates where she lives.
Maybe they did it.
Correct in so many instances. We seem to be watching an outdoor, outspoken, publicized insane asylum.
Just did a quick Google search (wondering if this is a widespread phenomenon) and discovered that the UK government announced in spring 2020 that badger culls were to be phased out. They were done to cut down on tuberculosis in cattle.
Sad for the dogs.
Or wont do for you....
Yeah wtf did the poor dogs do to deserve that?
And just like that...she wasn’t worried about badgers anymore.

You don't say! What was your first clue?
Mental illness doesn't excuse this.
Narwal?
Why did she have to kill the dogs?
That’s just evil.
Poor dogs. If she wanted to off herself, that’s one thing. But to take 2 animals who trusted her to their gruesome deaths, that’s reprehensible. She had given many signs that she was “off”, she actually said she wanted to kill herself and her dogs, yet no one, no state agency, not a soul moved to get her help and rehome her dogs.
Yep, very.
