Not a bit cooler here today. it was stifling.
We got a brief rain shower this afternoon that dropped the temp but it went back up again. Sauna time.
We won’t cool off until the weekend.

We were supposed to get rain, but no dice. The funny thing is that thought it wasn’t TOO bad all day, it’s still 93 right now. Crazy.

Dang it! Too bad you didn’t get more rain. That cotton needs it right now!

Were you lucky enough to get some rain this morning? The airport got a good dose but now the sun’s breaking through.

Well darn the luck. I’d hoped you get some rain today. At least you got a sort-of cool down. Funny when 93 is cool to ya. LOL

It was 90 this afternoon when I headed out to get Bella’s asthma nose drops from the vet but the heat index was close to 100. It was raining and cooler when I got home but it still wasn’t comfortable. We’re ready for the weekend with cooler temps and drier air. There are still chances for more rain between now and then.

The cotton looks pretty happy right now. Loaded with big fat bolls.

It rained and thundered while we were out at Chisolm Trail yesterday but I did get to manage a few pics.

Yikes! I hope you weren’t too far from shelter when the storms broke out while you were at the park. A good storm can be exhilarating but not if you’re stuck in the wide open.
