TheBlaze founder and 2020 Radio Hall of Fame inductee Glenn Beck issued a public apology to President Donald Trump for doubting him in 2016.
In a series of tweets, the talk-show host wrote, "I am feeling so humbled this week. I feel truly horrible for the things I said and believed in 2016 about @realDonaldTrump. I believed the worst politically, which he proved me wrong at almost every turn. In the most dramatic cases (life/Israel/China/authoritarian)."
Beck pointed out that the president deserves to be praised for his handling of the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to researchers at Johns Hopkins University, the virus has infected at least 5,889,652 Americans at the time of this writing, and has caused 181,186 deaths.
"I expected @realDonaldTrump to take control federally at the first opportunity. Here we are in a massive crisis. Bush 'violated the free market to save the free market.' Trump could have violated federalism to 'save federalism' yet he has stood firm through COVID."

"But let me cut to the chase," he continued. "I believed he actually didn't care about people. When @realDonaldTrump called me after my fathers [sic] death, I assigned the motive to politics AND SAID SO. What haunts me this week is how my words must have hit his children."
Beck, who spoke with Donald Trump Jr. last week, said that he felt compelled to issue an apology to the president's son for his stance in 2016.

No, but there has to be one. He is totally pro-Trump these days.
Well, he helped convince The Lincoln Projects NeverTrumpers.
So, I figure hes got a lot to undo.
I think its him seeing Trump is going to win and he didnt want to be with the losers, again.
I’ll never forgive him for firing Jay Severin, RIP.
Apology accepted.
EXACTLY! Anyone who thought/thinks Trump is in this solely for Trump doesn’t know Trump, from many decades ago it was obvious he loved the country and helped people. Sure he talks huge, boastful but he dreams big, he is over optimistic and then implements plans to reach as close to his dreams as possible (realestate/construction limits etc get in the way, as do politicians etc for him now)
THOR: He is a danger to America and I got to ask you a question and this is serious and this could ring down incredible heat on me because Im about to suggest something very bad. It is a hypothetical I am going to ask as a thriller writer. With the feckless, spineless Congress we have, who will stand in the way of Donald Trump overstepping his constitutional authority as President? If Congress wont remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that if, if, he oversteps his mandate as president, his constitutional-granted authority, I should say, as president. If he oversteps that, how do we get him out of office? And I dont think there is a legal means available. I think it will be a terrible, terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office because you wont be able to do it through Congress.
BECK: I would agree with you on that and I dont think you actually have the voices weve been talking about and weve been talking about this off-air for a while. I think the voices like ours go away. I dont think we are allowed especially if things, and I believe the economy is going to go to crap, even if Jesus was in office. Its going to naturally reset. It has to.
Too late for the traitorous bastard.
I once liked Glenn Beck.
Beck has been behind Trump for at least two years now.
Beck tends to flow like water, wherever the current is headed. You can’t take him too seriously. Although the one thing I do agree with him on is that we are headed for a reset on everything, sooner than later.
I was all for Ted Cruz during the 2016 primaries. Once Trump won the nomination, I was all in to support the party’s nominee. At about that time, I saw old videos of Trump, talking about America and how foreign trade was unfair and destroying our manufacturing base. I realized that Trump was consistent. He said what he believed and wasn’t going to change for political benefit. It was in August 2016 that I truly believed that THIS was the man we needed. I am glad I haven’t doubted him since.
Yeah....if He could forgive Peter, what does that say about me not forgiving a repentant Beck or Levin?
Beck has extremely bad perception. I’d never take advice from that individual.
This was not a theological question.
35 years ago Trump was saying the same things he is saying today.
Have YOU heard an apology from Levin?
LOL!
Has he repented of the Debra Medina assassination?
Yes.
Thanks, that makes me feel better
