President Trump's support among black voters rose 9 percentage points amid the Republican National Convention, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Twenty-four percent of registered black voters in the Aug. 22-25 survey, which included the first two days of the convention, said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 76 percent said they disapprove.

That is up 9 points from the previous survey conducted Aug. 8-11, where the President received 15 percent support among this group.

The survey found support among Hispanic voters also grew by 2 percentage points, from 30 percent in the last poll to 32 percent in this most recent survey.

Forty-four percent of overall registered voters in the Aug. 22-25 survey approved of Trump's job as president, a 1 percentage point dip from the last poll...

It was so happy to see how the RNC reached out to the black community. I think it will really reap benefits!!!!

If this gets reflected in the voting, then that will only help in battleground states such as Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, etc. all of which have big black populations.

We’ll see.

I’ve heard that black women tend to vote 95+% Democrat, but that it’s among black men that the black approval of Trump is centered.

And these black men are not enamored of Kamala Harris being the Democrat VP nominee.

No way can Biden win with 24% of blacks supporting Trump. Great news!

No way can Biden win with 24% 14% of blacks supporting Trump.

Still would be true.

Note that Trump won with only 8% of the black vote in 2016 (13% of black males, 4% with black females).

And with the black and Hispanics making up a record 26% of voters in 2020, this is nothing but good news for Trump.

76% “disapprove”

Some people are so willing to self-destruct and permanently ensconce them selves at the bottom of the socioeconomic barrel

I think Hispanic voters are going to be a surprise this election. They’ve been completely ignored by the Democrats.

If he gets anything close to 25% of the black vote and 33% of the Hispanic vote, we are looking at a 44 state landslide.

44 state landslide would be a dream come true. It would be nice to see the American people make a strong statement against socialism, violence, rioting, liberalism, all this black lives matter business, etc.

The blacks we see represented at BLM riots are not representative of average Americans. Just like you and me, the average black or Hispanic works everyday and wants a good life.

Somehow the news and BLM have devalued property be it a house or a car, and made it ok to destroy things people have worked hard to own. This does not go over well with people who actually earned possessions.

The old “magic formula” was 60% white, 40% Hispanic and 10% black votes needed to guarantee a Republican victory.

Seems very much in reach for 2020.

If Trump were to get over 20% of the Black vote, it would make it almost impossible for Biden to win.

Donald J. Trump is a game changer.

Everyone who bad-mouthed the guy in 2016, needs to look at
what he has achieved, across the board.

The people who ran against him should stand in awe, but it’s
my take they think they could have done this or even better.

They are so wrong...

It took a man that had multi layered international business
leadership experience.

That’s what we said in 2016. We were right.

He had the experience. He had the right platform. He had
the ability to take it to the press and make things better
for all of us.

He lifted the bottom portion of our society. He lifted
the middle class, and he allowed the venture capitalists
to thrive.

Who did all that in the past, to the extent he did?
Crickets... The markets can’t get enough of him and
his positive outlook.

Now Biden wants to tax his achievements into oblivion.
And what those taxes don’t kill, his new regulations will.

Folks, not here but out there, if you’re not voting Trump,
just slit your wrists now. It’s faster and less painful.
