Staffers from Sen. Mitt Romney’s (R-UT) failed 2012 presidential campaign are joining former staffers of President George W. Bush and the late John McCain to help elect Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris.
Thirty-four former Romney staffers have signed onto the group “Romney Alumni for Biden” where they accuse President Trump’s of leading the United States “in the wrong direction” and say the nation needs Biden-Harris in the White House to usher in a “mantle of global leadership.”
They write in an open letter:
What unites us now is a deep conviction that four more years of a Trump presidency will morally bankrupt this country, irreparably damage our democracy, and permanently transform the Republican Party into a toxic personality cult.

Now the Romney and McCain folks have revealed for all to see what we already knew about them for years.
WOW, they admit to that? What next, the crew of the Titanic are forming a group to help Biden navigate the hostile debate waters?
It wont be official until Pierre Delecto joins the group. Will Pierre bring his binders of women with him?

I can see them doing that if it would make a difference but come on! They’re signing their GOP death warrants. The only thing left for them is the rat party. It was Trump’s plan all along. That’s good.
Let’s hope they do for Biden’s campaign what they did for the McCain and Romney campaigns....

Yep. In both cases, I just saw the R’s running their internal D member against the D party.
This kind of nonsense is why I left the R party about 15 years ago. I’m an independent now, to the right of the R party. I love their platform, but they don’t honor it. Well, trump does. But then, the party doesn’t really seem to like him.
