Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old suspected of fatally shooting at least two people and injuring another during protests in Kenosha over the shooting of Jacob Blake, has been arrested, according to local media reports.
Rittenhouse, 17, was arrested in Illinois and has been reportedly charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
Suddenly I don’t see any knee-slapping prison rape quips on Free Republic.
“Authorities have made it clear that you are not allowed to defend yourself from bodily harm or take any measures to prevent the looting and destruction of your homes, businesses, and neighborhoods.”
What home, business or neighborhood did Kyle Rittenhouse have in Kenosha? While others here are saying they see someone defending themself, all I see is a kid who, on his own violation, got himself in a situation that was way over his head. The boys’s father ought to be arrested too if he knew about this beforehand.

I know I certainly wasn't when I was 17.
Seriously though, another problem with these riots in the age of COVID is a "BLM Protest" is the only authorized social activity young people are allowed to participate in. I think a lot of these riots are driven by young people just looking for something to do. Young people are social. they don't want to be isolated at home. They wan't to go out and do things and there's nothing to do. No sports, no concerts, no clubs. Everything is shut down.
Everything that is, except BLM riots.

Ehh, a couple issues.
The DA can charge him as an adult for the criminal charge but civil liability should be limited due to him being a minor.
Even if he’s convicted by the local communist court and an Antifa jury the appeals court will not be as tainted and will give a better chance at acquittal.

Well........he DID shoot some useless varmints of the 2-legged variety.
I hope he has good mentors who are actively coaching him on important phrases to say and important ones to avoid. I'd love to see him prosecuted and acquitted quickly because that will prevent a future prosecution.
