De Blasio’s Tale of 2 Brunches: Mayor has no plan for ‘optional’ indoor dining

Mayor Bill de Blasio suggested Tuesday he’s reluctant to restart indoor dining because it’s an activity for middle- and upper-income New Yorkers that clashes with his pledge to transform the Big Apple’s “tale of two cities” with progressive policies.

At his daily press briefing, De Blasio was asked why public school students who return to classrooms this fall will eat their lunch inside while restaurants can’t reopen indoor dining.

“I don’t think there’s a similarity at all,” de Blasio said.

Rich people can afford to go out to eat but the poor can't so lets destroy the restaurants? The people working at these restaurants think otherwise.

My thoughts exactly. Idiots like deBlasio overlook, or don’t give a blank, that these “upscale” restaurants create a lot of jobs for the kinds of people deBlasio theoretically purports to represent with his policies.

So he proudly admits that his decision to destroy thousands of businesses and jobs has nothing to do with the virus. The obedient sheep need to turn on him with a vengeance and remove him by whatever means is required. The tyrant must go.

After seeing the videos of BLM asswipes terrorizing diners and trying to force them to do the black power salute, I am surprised Dumbassio has not opened the restaurants so that Noo Yawkas can be treated to the same.

I don’t live in NY but I am building a Tiki bar in my backyard poolside(FL). Tired of the mask nazi’s at restaurants and the bars are still closed here. I will be inviting anyone and everyone over BYOB and NO MASKS.

The word on the street is that De Blasio sent a minion to the shop and she was told.......”No soup for YOU!”

Well at least the VMA’s could get a waiver. Not acceptable to have virtual awards ceremonies for the crowd that need adoration from the common people to feel good about themselves.

The little people, the restaurant owners, the elderly in the nursing home. They can just go suck it.

Good Job Diblasio and Cuomo. /s
