Thomas Borody MB,BS, BSc (Med), MD PhD, DSc, FRACP, FACP, FACG, AGAF, touts FDA and TGA approved Ivermectin, which he reports to use regularly in his hospital as it evidences positive results for COVID-19 and should be used immediately to fight the pandemic. The developer of the worlds first cure for peptic ulcers, which saved millions of lives worldwide, employed the same methodology to come up with the Ivermectin triple therapy. With over 30 formal clinical trials, many dozens of observational real-world initiatives and hundreds to possibly thousands of doctors already using the medicine, a particular momentum gains speed for additional randomized controlled trials and, just as importantly, a more serious dialogue about the potential of this approach for pragmatic and economical treatment options for COVID-19.
The Real World Evidence
TrialSite has been tracking the use of Ivermectin since researchers at Australias Monash University and Peter Doherty Institute found that in the labs cell culture the anti-parasitic absolutely destroyed the pathogen. TrialSite found and interviewed doctors from Bangladesh and India to the Dominican Republic, Peru, Columbia and Iraq to the United States where Broward County Health approved an Ivermectin-based protocol with successful outcomes. A French company called Medincell even announced it would work on commercializing an ivermectin-based COVID-19 therapy. Search TrialSite for what are now many dozens of relevant real world data points.
TrialSite acknowledges the not only the importance of, but the necessity of randomized controlled studies; hence why the continuous reporting of important studies, such as University of Kentucky, Sheba Medical Center, KKR-backed Max Healthcare, Bangladesh Medical College and many other centers around the world.
Additionally, TrialSite is contributing to a significant clinical trial in the works in the United States. Targeting up to 2,000 patients, several hospitals seek to participate. The drug manufacturer will donate the drug

RE: Anyone else hearing of the usage of Ivermectin?
FreeRepublic already has NUMEROUS THREADS on Ivermectin for Covid-19. See here:

That crashing sound you hear is Fauci kicking old ladies aside and running people down to get to a TV camera.
Dr. Zev Zelenko
@zev_dr
I'd like to get some, but it's a prescription to.
You only need to take it for one day.

Also I researched it and it looks very promising.
wonder if there is any truth to this story
Ping to Oz Covid 19 therapy
Coronavirus PING!
An ionophore, zinc, and an antibiotic?Bring Out Your DeadSounds vaguely familiar...

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old farts life, it's worth it.
Got mine onhand.
Luckily its easier to find on open market than HCQ. And the dosage is small, the effect lasting..
Entire countries are going to be using this drug, so safe it is prescribed for head lice trade name Stromectol.
Brazil uses both, and DR Zelenko added it to his regimen.
Also in the ever changing EVMS protocol.
“I’d like to get some, but it’s a prescription”
It is commonly given to horses, and is available for that on Amazon.
I noticed that, too. I don't have any problems with the protocol changing as we become more knowledgeable about the disease and learn more about treatments. In fact, I'd be more concerned if treatment protocols DID NOT change through time.
But it would be nice if Dr. Paul Marik, Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at EVMS, would explain the rationale behind the changes he made to the protocol. He went from recommending HCQ one day to this weird statement the next...
Not recommended: Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). The use of HCQ is extremely controversial. The best scientific evidence to date suggest that HCQ has no proven benefit for post exposure prophylaxis, for the early symptomatic phase and in hospitalized patients. It should be noted that these studies did not include Zinc, and it is possible that the efficacy of HCQ requires the co-administration of Zinc. However, considering the unique pharmacokinetics of HCQ, it is unlikely that HCQ is of benefit (takes about 10 days to achieve adequate plasma and lung concentrations). The benefit derived from the co-administration of Zinc may be due to the effects of zinc alone. This is however, a very volatile situation, so stay tuned.
Don’t take the horse dosage. They weigh a bit more than humans.
And fish take docycycline....just sayin, in case you dont have some onhand for tick bites
Not giving veterinary advice
EVMS dropped HCQ after that fake Lancet study
The study was pulled but Marik stayed on the liberal plantation about HCQ - you know, like using a low dose for 5 days is more dangerous than getting covid if you are over 60, overweight, diabetic, asthmatic or immunocompromised
Virginia is a blue state with an idiot governor (ha) but the legislature, I believe, just changed its restrictions on HCQ
Ping
The plastic syringe has a screw block with an index based on weight so you don’t give the horse too much. Last time I used some was 8 years ago, I think they were 200 pound increments.
They say they will do whatever it takes.
But then they strike out against doctors that are trying to do what they believe is best for their patient unless it conforms to what the government wants done.
Never in my memory has the government mandated against any treatment before the fact if that treatment used an approved drug (off label use). Doctors of course are liable and can be held to account for treatment after the fact if that treatment a has detrimental effect on the patient and if that treatment was not within accepted practice.
But in this Crisis suddenly the CDC is governing the treatment of a virus which in the vast majority of cases is a symptomatic and usually only fatal in those with underlying conditions.
yup, panacur as well
