Joe Biden faces new plagiarism claim over DNC acceptance speech
NY Post ^ | August 22 2020 | Mary Kay Linge

That’s sloppy, Joe.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden reprised his penchant for borrowing lines from other people’s work this week — apparently relying a bit too heavily on the words of a deceased Canuck party leader during his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, reports said.

Biden concluded his Thursday night speech by saying: “For love is more powerful than hate. Hope is more powerful than fear. Light is more powerful than dark.”

“Light is more powerful than dark.” ....... Sounds racist to me. Why not, everything else is.

“Joe will be a president who turns our challenges into purpose.”
What the heck does that mean, anyway? These people would be lost without cliches! Jeepers!

“Light is more powerful than dark.”

Who even says that? Normal people say “darkness” or maybe “the dark”. Dark is not a thing, it is a quality.

Somebody else wrote it. All Joe did was read it off the prompter.

The entire American radical left agenda is derivative of the UK nad therefore plagerized. All they propose has it’s roots in the UK

And actually, Layton said it much better, and was clearly trying to bring people together, hence using the words:

“Love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair.””

“Better than” is a hopeful, peaceful message.

“More Powerful than” is a message that we want to crush you, it is a violent message that they will use force to bring “love”, in a 1984 Orwellian fashion.

Dog faced pony soldier... that’s a Biden original

As well as Corn Pop and leg hair that turns blonde and stands up when it gets wet. Nobody in his right mind could have produced that.

Speaking of “cover” bands, the best one in the US, “Foxes and Fossils”, an be viewed on YouTube. F and F features two 15–16 yr old gals whose harmonies are superb. The fossils are all accomplished musicians with extensive experience with big name bands. The leader, Tim Purcell, is the father of one of the girls. One person said after hearing the group, “it is like finding a Rembrandt at a garage sale”. I agree. Band webpage is www.foxesandfossils.com

Love is more lovely than hate, hope is more hopeful than hopeless, and light is brighter than darkness. Tautologies are easily understood by the feeble minded.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. I’m sure Joe’s handlers will say that he said it during a campaign stop in 1968 that didn’t have video and pay a few old guys to “remember” it.

Oh, you must be referring to when life guard joe RULED over a bunch of young black kids. Guess he had fun with the whistle and ordering them around. So, did ‘corn pop’ have ‘post toasty’ and ‘fruit loop’ in his gang? Lucky charm? Come on maaaannnnnnnn.

His student interns did the plagiarism, after all, they never had an original thought and can’t write.

They’ll claim Ron stole it from joe.

That will take some doing.

Slow Joe has a very long history of bare faced plagiarism going back to when he stole parts of Neil Kinnock’s speech word for word decades ago.
Speech writers take plenty of input from the guy they are writing the speech for.
