An image of Trayvon Martin was prominently displayed behind the child who recited the Pledge of Allegiance on Thursday at the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
The poster of Trayvon Martin depicts him wearing a grey hoodie and holding a sign that reads, “I Am a Man.” The poster hung in the background as Cedric Richmond Jr., son of Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA), recited the pledge from New Orleans during the final night of the live-streamed convention.
In February 2012, former neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman shot and killed the teenage Martin in self-defense. He was charged, tried, then cleared of all charges in 2013, according to Breitbart News.
Following the acquittal, former President Barack Obama addressed the verdict.
“You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago,” he stated, according to the White House website.

Another load of “grape drink” drug addict crapola. Trayvon Martin was shot by a volunteer security team from a neighborhood (who was a little too engaged in enforcement, but legitimately on a neighborhood watch rotation patrol, and was legally armed under FL law) watch group.
Trayvon Martin came out of bushes in hiding and attacked Mr. Zimmerman, pounding his head on the concrete curb— easily could have killed him, but.... surprise, the victim was armed with a 9MM and shot him right up through the gut (and he bled out internally). You try to kill someone they have a RIGHT of self defense, in this case responding to deadly force WITH deadly force.
From this case was legislated the FL STAND YOUR GROUND law— which everyone visiting FL (and presumably reciprocally from a State which Florida recognizes carry permits) should know the entire law, and the limits/requirements of their actions in self defense. Rules of Engagement, if you will. Know them, follow them, and you will not be charged for defending yourself.
DNC is ONE SICK outfit full of miscreants, criminals of every level and anti-Constitution and anti the United States as a Nation. Period.

Really? He woulda been casing neighborhood homes, peeking in windows, then tried to murder a Hispanic man that simply tried to question him? Did he really say that coulda been him? Wow!
Saint Skittles was a criminal thug, if he wouldn’t have attacked George Zimmerman and got Shot for it, somebody else would have shot him by now or he would be in prison.
