New York City restaurants that have been staying afloat with outdoor patios and takeout service this summer may be forced to close when it turns cold this fall as local officials struggle to enforce the state’s orders to curb the coronavirus, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo warned Wednesday.
Unlike other parts of the state, restaurants and bars in the Big Apple have not been allowed to reopen indoor dining services. Some have been able to operate with expanded outdoor patios that Cuomo has said are safer.

State’s positivity rate has been below 1% for a while now. And there are a number of Upstate counties with NO hospitalizations for days. Doesn’t matter.
Thus was NEVER about public health.
NYS has lost almost half its House seats over the last 60 years.
That doesn’t matter to our urban areas.
They will be the death of us.

There was an article titled ‘ New York is Dead Forever ‘ recently published in the NY Post.
It’s a very compelling take on the situation and future of NYC.
If you google the title you’ll find it. I think the author makes some very valid points but other big cities will be greatly affected by what is going on as well.
No worries, everything will be clear to open back up starting on November 4 or, at the latest, on November 9 (the following Monday). Count on it - because that’s how the Dems roll.

“Operation chaos”. It’s all by design. I know many who are level headed in normal times and are now losing their minds. The left knows what it does.
I read it. He made a lot of good points but failed to mention that the pols/bureaucracy responsible for all this won’t be going anywhere.
And without accountability and reform, this could happen again.

why on earth would they close? I just read a post where multiple people celebrated that 20% herd immunity was enough to stop the virus in its tracks. So why would there be a fall wave? Unless....

Nope! Not that I totally disagree with you, BUT...it seems strange to ALL of us, that a President would follow the Constitution and turn these kinds of things BACK to the STATES - as it should be. It will pay off in the long run for his re-election and it certainly is shining a light on these petty Democrat TYRANTS at ALL levels of Government.

I’m not advocating that TRump flout the COnstitution, but that he support it by not plumping the likes of Fauci, not funding the Gates vaccine, not pretending that Covid is what it isn’t, etc.
Turning this all over to the Dem guvs, etc., is turning the company to the forces of evil.
