New York City restaurants that have been staying afloat with outdoor patios and takeout service this summer may be forced to close when it turns cold this fall as local officials struggle to enforce the state’s orders to curb the coronavirus, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo warned Wednesday.

Unlike other parts of the state, restaurants and bars in the Big Apple have not been allowed to reopen indoor dining services. Some have been able to operate with expanded outdoor patios that Cuomo has said are safer.

Meanwhile, while crime is running amok in parts of the state, Cuomo recently sent out LE to visit over 1,000 businesses still trying to eke out a living to put the fear of Cuomo in them.

To our brothers and sisters in NYC: Time to civilly disobey and show who has the real power!

These restaurant owners should tell him to F off.

The cops who we've all been supporting during the de-fund the police riots would come down like a box full of anvils on anyone that defied the orders of the mayor or the governor.

It's a paradox. The right supports the cops and want to keep them funded against the wishes of the leftists, but then those cops willingly act as enforcers for the leftists.

Why would the cops have anything to do with code enforcement? That is a job for the code enforcement bureau. Cops would only be involved if serving a court ordered warrant. And with how bad DeCommio is treating the cops, I suspect they will lower such orders on the priority totem pole.

King Andrew has spoken.

COVID is NOT over.

At best it’s half time.

You don’t call it a win at half time no matter the score.— Andrew Cuomo (@NYGovCuomo) August 19, 2020

The problem is that Trump may not be President. Then what?

Everyone is assuming he will win.

Trump has a good chance of losing. The job is his to lose. He has made a lot of poor choices since the beginning of March.

Tell that to this guy who kept his Gym open until the cops were sent in to harass him. At first they made headlines for telling him he was violating the rules and then just walking away (i.e. refusing to harass him) but then they were sent back (after some politician reamed them out, no doubt) and shut them down. The gym has since been permanently closed by the state.

If enough citizens refuse even against such pressure, they then take back the power from their oppressors and the powers that be quickly realize that they cannot enforce such mandates that are opposed to the will of the people and the rights enshrouded in our Constitution. The Gym owners are simply a message from our oppressive local governments to not dare stand up for our rights. It’s been long past time for us all to refuse to comply and take back our rights that have been stolen from us. We outnumber them, truly hold all of the power, and it’s not too late to make a concerted change as Americans. We can do it without violence, but we have to be united in our cause and stop defeating ourselves.

NY also has the worst death rate. And Faustus and the public health bureaucrats say NY has the best response. Yeah, if you want to die unemployed.

...earlier Wednesday that the city recorded its lowest daily infection rate to date at 0.24%.

Stunning.

Only 0.24% of NYC people who are tested, test positive, yet Cuomo and Wilhelm still think that they need to shut people down.
