When they were handing out speaking slots for their convention this week, Democrat leaders thought it would be a good idea to diss rising far-left progressive Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by giving her just 60 SECONDS to speak.
I'm pretty sure they are now regretting that decision -- BIGLY.
That's because AOC (D-NY) used her one minute of time to SNUB presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden --- and instead to nominate Bernie Sanders for president.
Ocasio-Cortez began by stating, “Good evening, bienvenidos, and thank you to everyone here today endeavoring toward a better, more just future for our country and our world, in fidelity and gratitude to a mass people’s movement working to establish 21st-century social, economic and human rights, including guaranteed health care, higher education, living wages and labor rights for all people in the United States.”
“A movement striving to recognize and repair the wounds of racial injustice, colonization, misogyny and homophobia,” she continued. “And to propose and build reimagined systems of immigration and foreign policy that turn away from the violence and xenophobia of our past. A movement that realizes the unsustainable brutality of an economy that rewards explosive inequalities of wealth for the few, at the expense of long-term stability for the many. And who organized a historic, grass roots campaign to reclaim our democracy.”

Yep....it's a failsafe just in case Hidey Joe can't make it. I believe they wanted an official nomination --and a 2nd-- on the books. I believe I heard him getting some votes, too.

MLK called out the Black Panthers and Nation of Islam’s black separatism and black nationalism as being every bit as wrong as white separatism and white nationalism.

Bernie got paid well for taking another fall. His voters don’t realize he never wanted to be President, too much work and not enough pay.
Thankfully I’m not the only one who thinks she’s good looking. Hate what she stands for, but she’s one of the best looking women in the Democratic Party. Not that she has a ton of actual competition in that regard. ;)
