Democrats’ Day 2 focus: Trump’s global leadership deficit

NEW YORK (AP) — A day after Michelle Obama’s passion wowed Democrats, Joe Biden is drawing on a collection of his party’s most experienced leaders at the Democratic National Convention to underscore what he calls a global leadership deficit that threatens U.S. national security.

In addition to the former foreign and domestic policy leaders, Jill Biden will introduce herself to the nation for the first time as the prospective first lady. A longtime teacher, she’ll speak from her former classroom at Brandywine High School near the family home in Wilmington, Delaware.

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State John Kerry are among the headliners on a night that organizers hope to emphasize a simple theme: Leadership matters. Former President Jimmy Carter, now 95 years old, will also make an appearance.

“Donald Trump is just not equipped, not capable of doing what we need to do in the world today,” Kerry said during a briefing ahead of the convention’s second night. “What Donald Trump inherited, which was a growing economy and a world of respect, he’s turned into a world of chaos, literally.”

Biden is fighting unprecedented logistical challenges to deliver his message during an all-virtual convention this week as the coronavirus epidemic continues to claim hundreds of American lives each day and wreaks havoc on the economy.

Getting a deal done in the Middle East is major. Trump really did well on that one.

...the party’s most experienced leaders

Carter, Clinton, Kerry, Obama...LOL. Ineffectual, crooked, puling, craven anti-Americans, every one of them. That party has ZERO effective statesmen leaders. What a hoot. That is the worst possible collection of dregs they could dredge up.

I heard the sale of pop corn has spiked. This ought to be fun. Talk about the blind leading the blind. Maybe the Democrats they have some good history lesson to learn from their advances in North Korea...

I honestly didn't know the Democrat Party's convention was on going.

This was a big mistake doing this virtual thing -

Remember Warren Harding? Me neither, well Joe Biden is no Warren Harding; however, he'd probably die after getting into office like Harding. Similar to president Harding he is trying a front porch campaign after a pandemic. Soon you'll hear Joe saying the words "Return to normalcy" if he hasn't ripped that off already-

I haven't been paying attention like I used to Biden is about dumb and boring as they come. How the nominated some one worse than Hillary - well I'm still surprised.

They are really mad that we didn’t do in Syria what we did in Libya and tried to do in Egypt.

Democrat/globalist Leadership = blowing things up to turn weak states into failed states, then sniffing around Europe's and China's backsides for their commands.
