The left has yet to realize the obvious, that criminals do not obey laws of any kind, least of all gun laws. So deluded are the gun-banning Democrats, they do not believe that Americans have the right to defend themselves against said criminals. These Democrats who want to run our lives all have armed security themselves, but we peons are, in their warped view, are to be forever denied the rights they bestow upon themselves.
Like the imbecilic Beto O’Rourke before her, Kamala Harris advocates gun confiscation; she wants the tyrannical government she and Joe are promoting to go into our homes and seize our legally-obtained weapons of self-defense.
Like Hitler, Stalin and Mao, seizing the firearms of the citizenry is the first step toward despotism. But the left misjudges the spirit of Americans who have escaped being indoctrinated by the anti-American, anti-constitutionalism that the left in academia and the media have been pushing for decades. Most of us take the Constitution and its accompanying Bill of Rights very seriously.

Myself, everyone of my family members, and everyone I know will never give up a single gun or a single round of ammunition ever. They will never have enough states to ratify any amendment to our Constitution taking away the Second Amendment. All this talk is frivolous about what some candidate thinks they can do or not do. The unconstitutional limits on guns by several states limiting aspects of weapons is ignored by all criminals and most draconian laws are only obeyed by honest citizens in fear of their government. It is government who should fear the people if they should ever attempt to pass any unconstitutional law intending on striping away all guns of any type. And if a tyrannical government ever foolishly did so by passing a law taking away the right to gun ownership, it would be utterly destroyed in any attempt to enforce it or survive passing it.
While this sounds logical I don’t believe it’s correct. In my opinion most liberals buying guns will still vote liberal.
And none of the opinion pieces I read similar to this are even factoring in 5 million fraudulent votes for Joe Biden. And if something doesn’t change soon 5 million may be an underestimate.
They turn criminals loose as soon as they can so they can victimize more people.
These trends are obvious and undeniable. The trend of legitimate citizen concealed and open carry laws and the participation of armed citizens therein is a state-level response to a widespread social movement in that direction. This is so unacceptable to the so-called progressives that it is rarely acknowledged in the popular media, which is perfectly fine, one need simply look at the data, not at the people attempting to explain it away through accusations of paranoia. What's moving is what's moving, and it doesn't bode well for any citizen disarmament movement however trendy in the urban enclaves.
A lot of things two and a half centuries old are about to be tested, because a tyrannical government is only a single election away, and once in place its proponents are quite open about what they will be ordering with regard to citizen ownership of the tools to resist them. And that's why the gun store shelves are empty. It isn't difficult.
Note to those who want to deny the “Bill of Rights,” protection of “We the People.”
You may try, but your quest is unlawful and will be met with a violent reaction, the likes, of which, you cannot imagine.

Democrats know all to well the real reason for the Second Amendment and it terrifies them. It’s to give the citizen protection from a possible over reaching and tyrannical government.
The left doesn’t realize that if it is successful in it’s overall societal aims, we gun owners will have nothing left to lose. That’s 63 million deplorables, 37 million hunters and 22 million CCW holders with well over 400 million firearms. If 10% of those people say Hell No, Civil War 2.0 will be bloodier than the first.
And far less civil.

I would split Texas into a couple of states. Now. Don’t wait.
The logic of all this gets a bit confusing. Lincoln argued the states’ secessions weren’t legally valid. But Lincoln was assassinated and Reconstruction was handled by Congress which declared that ex-Confederate states had to reapply for admission to the Union.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the US is a one of a kind nation where self defense is seemingly built into our genetic makeup.
Case in point is Vermont, one of the strongest supporters of the 2A, yet they have a commie as a senator.
Look at a typical voting map shaded with the blues and reds. Red is the predominant color all over the place with exception to large metro areas. Granted, the large blue metro areas hold the votes, but the red areas hold the guns and will not let them go like the sheep of Germany, Russia or China.
Seems that for some reason, the boat owners of America are for President Trump. I have not seen any mention of a SLOJOEANDHISHO boat parade, but thousands of boats have launched on behalf of President Trump. Do boat owners also own guns? Who would have guessed?
One can only hope. However, I have two adult kids and one grandson. Although they grew up in the country around guns, they have no serious interest in them. This is completely different from when we were kids. When we were kids, we couldn't get enough of them. I have never tried to force them into developing marksmanship skills. I will say that lately, both my kids have expressed interest in firearms out of fear of the times. Upon which, I told them they had a lot of catching up to do regarding their firearm skills. I'm anxiously awaiting them to start making the time to come back here to the country and start working on this.
