Mark Cuban says critics of the NBA’s Black Lives Matter activism should focus on Fox News’ ratings before the league.
The Dallas Mavericks owner says a 4% dip in ratings for the league has far more to do with Joseph R. Biden’s presidential campaign than politicized programming alienating fans.
“Lol. You do realize that was the day @JoeBiden picked @KamalaHarris?” the billionaire tweeted at Fox Sports Radio’s Clay Travis on Thursday. “Nothing makes a Fox News viewer want to get lied to more.”
Cuban’s comments failed to take into account strong ratings for baseball and hockey despite the coronavirus pandemic.
Similarly, NASCAR enjoyed the third-and-fourth most-watched sporting events televised last weekend.
“Explain why advertisers pay 3x or more for a prime time @Nba spot over a Fox News Spot?” the billionaire added. “And who has had advertiser boycotts?”
Mr. Travis countered by comparing the league’s ratings versus those for Fox stars Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson.
“Head to head on Monday night on cabl: Tucker Carlson viewership: 4.5 million. Lakers-Nuggets viewership: 1.5 million. Head-to-head on Tuesday night: Sean Hannity: 4.6 million, Blazers-Mavs: 930k,” Mr. Travis tweeted. “Yikes, NBA.”
Leftists like Cuban how no understanding whatsoever of how or why so many people like me can go from die-hard NBA fans to watching no games whatsoever. If need be, in perpetuity. Some things are more important than a child’s game played by entitled, presumptuous and intolerant millionaires. Things like liberty and love of country. Finding other things to do has not been difficult.
While we are discussing anemic ratings, we need to add the WNBA to the mix. Has any pollster even found one viewer watching their games?
If Cuban were to try to get investors for what he’s trying to sell regarding the BLM nonsense and the low ratings for the NBA, he would get no buyers, not even for 1% of the sale.
I used to watch pretty much every Seahawk game. Ever since Colingate (three years ago?), that has been reduced to virtually zero minutes. Funny thing is I do not miss it at all. If you cannot stand for the flag and the national anthem, you really do need to find someplace else to live where you will be happy. But leave the rest of us alone.

The Mavericks Organization was full of sexual harrassment on Cuban’s watch.
I’ve never once been to broadcast.com. No idea if it even exists. I never hear about it.
As a former athlete, Football, Hockey and Baseball, and fan, I have no desire to see the Professional leagues prosper.
Their respective “Commissioners,” screwed up and gave in to the BLM terrorists. Disrespect to the Flag and Anthem should cost them, period.
We, as a nation, can survive without the “entertainment” that those leagues provided. The sponsors were silent during the fray so they should be penalized too!
We might be paying much less for athletic shoes, shirts and shorts in the future.

I do watch Golf. No BS on there unless it is aired on CBS. I hit the mute button if they do have any BLM BS on.
I never cared if you were gay until you started shoving it down my throat. I never cared what color you were, if you were a good human, until you started blaming me for all your problems.
I never cared about your political affiliation until you started to condemn me for mine. I never cared where you were from until you began condemning people based on where they were born and the history that makes them who they are.
I never cared if you’re well off or poor, because I have been both, until you started calling me names for working hard and bettering myself. I never cared if your beliefs are different from mine until you said mine were wrong.
Now, I care. I’ve given all the tolerance I have to give. It is no longer my problem. It’s your problem.
You can still fix it. It’s not too late. But it will be soon. I’m a very patient person at times. But I’m about out of patience. There are millions of people just like me. We’ve had enough. It’s time to restore law and order and DO IT NOW !!!

Cuban is supposed to be a savvy business man, an entrepreneurial genius.
Instead of crying, he should divest himself of the underperforming enterprise.

I stopped watching “Shark Tank” because I can’t stand the sight of Cuban’s ugly mug.
