With the Pandemic Shutdowns, Motor Vehicle Traffic is way down as is Air Travel.

Those sources of Climate impacting Gasses like Co2 have been severely curtailed for Months.

How is this Heat Wave even possible? Have the Manmade Climate Change believers explained that yet, or are we still just 11.5 Years from the end?

If we could only develop a way to hook up lefty idiots, using their ever-shriveling brains to generate electricity. california would be swimming in excess electricity then.

He’s actually right under ideal conditions - the solar panels charge a battery or supercapacitor during the day and at night they are discharged to power the house or charge the EV.

The catch? ‘Under ideal conditions.’

“Natural gas wins every time along with hydro. I sure wish I had a gas stove instead of this damn electric.”

When we did our kitchen retro about 10 years ago, our two sons helped us along the way. One had been a chef, and the other was an engineer. The former chef advised to go with the natural gas cooktop. A nosey neighbor said that it wouldn’t work with a power failure as you needed electricity to trigger the gas cooktops on.

Our sons gave us a nice inside butane lighter for lanterns, candles with a nice 6 inch extension to direct the flame from the lighter to the burners. It works without electricity. Long fireplace matches work.

Meanwhile here in the middle of the USA, we got so much excess power we are opening outlets and letting it run out on the ground.
But then we burn coal and natural gas, along with a few nukes.

Uh, just a minor point. Any rioting (aka ‘peaceful, mostly, protests)planned due to the word “blackout” being used.

Californians, if you want this crap to continue, keep voting Democrat.

Remember that insanity is defined as voting the same way every time and expecting a different result.

Embrace the suck.

I love it man! I was thinking the same thing.
Kinda like Tom Berringer telling the grunt “Take the pain!”
in Platoon.

The democrats did this to us. Cities burning and in ruins. Businesses ruined. High energy costs. Lack of electrical energy. Citizens in misery.

I lived in San Jose in the early 70’s and most houses there at that time didn’t have A/C. I remember Summer heat waves but they never seemed that bad. Maybe because of low humidity and not much obesity.

It’ll keep you calm and warm during blackouts.

I see what you did there. Well played.
