President Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump's donations to Sen. Kamala Harris's (D-Calif.) California Attorney General Campaign gained renewed attention after she was named former Vice President Joe Biden's running mate in the 2020 general election.

According to the California Secretary of State, the Trumps donated a total of $8,000 to Harris's campaigns from 2011-2014. Trump, a former real estate tycoon and television personality, announced his candidacy for president in 2015, and has not held public office before that.

Yup. This opens up a discussion about how political donations have become a form of tribute. I don’t think the Dems really want to have that conversation.

He also donated to Democrats in NY. He did a lot of business there and the permitting process is unbelievable.

Political donations are a legal form of graft and it is the way it is done there.

California is no different.

Trump is noted for being a political genius.

Could it be that he foresaw that she would wreck the dim party?

A stretch, I admit, but then his entire political career hs been a stretch.

Trump is very open about the fact that he donated to both parties because in business you have to or you become a target.

Ivanka, on the other hand, has no such excuse.

Politicians like Harris are whores. Whores get paid. You pay them, they will do what you expect them to. Politicians look at donations like a junkie looks at heroin.

Exactly.

Reporter asked Trump why he invited Bill & Hillary to his wedding. “I had a lot of really big deals coming up and I needed friends. You have to have friends to get anything accomplished.”

Trump knew first hand that politicians are corrupt, voters knew it too which is why they elected him and not a politician and will do the same again.

Yawn. Wealthy men give to both sides or ‘public servants’ make their lives miserable.

A 15 minute “gotcha” with no legs. The dummies at Democratic underground will love it for 15 minutes and touch themselves reading it but we won’t care. They will never learn.
