President Trump recently decided to rescind the Obama administrations Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) rule, which put pressure on suburbs to construct more low-income, high-density housing in their communities. Trumps decision met with a predictable outcry. Its not even a dog whistle anymore, Connecticut senator Chris Murphy tweeted. Our President is now a proud, vocal segregationist.
Somehow, Democrats still see the suburbs as racially homogenized, lily-white enclaves something they havent been for a long time. According to demographer Joel Kotkin and urban studies professor Alan Berger, 151 million Americans live in the suburbs and exurbs, compared with only 25 million in urban cores. A majority of African-Americans in the nations 100 largest metropolitan areas live in the suburbs. More Hispanics have been moving to the suburbs than whites, and the Asian population in suburban areas is growing nearly twice as fast as that of Asians living in inner-city cores.

The cities will become a haven and bubbles for wealthy elite white liberals.
Perhaps by design.
Well if this happened under obama nobody told the ENTIRE SOUTH SHORE of Staten Island.
Cause ain’t nothing been built.
Anybody here had their neighborhood ruined by a project being put up since this happened?
some laws are just feel good ones that never materialize.
actually, a lot are.
for both sides
Along with a purge of New York Jobs and a rocketing of taxes due to Prince Andrews corruption and greed (political and economic) and the COVID CRAP.. we in Upstate NY will be flushed down our brand new $250 million sewage treatment plant.

Yes, but how many unemployed violent criminals live in the suburbs?
Personally I don't think he has the cognitive ability to prepare for and complete his morning ablutions.
But if you want to really add to your horrendous nightmares imagine one year from now saying President Harris. For Biden will be gone from 25th Amendment action.

And they aint. They just aint. It’s common in my $400,000 and up hamlet to see Blacks outside tending their owned homes.
When this wind storm hit I went up to the gas station to fill two Jerry cans, and a Black guy at the next pump, getting out of a very new very custom Dodge Charger yelled “We gotta’ keep those generators fed, huh? Not everyone is whinging in the ghetto. Not by one hell of a long shot.
My zip code is about 90% black. So guess who will be Lyfting free rides to the polls this year, and in which voting districts?
Let’s see. The left want black student centers, black fraternities, black graduations, black proms but we are the segregationists.
Positively bringing the ‘hood to you.
“Biden’s hideous plan to make family life in suburbs unbearably miserable..”
As long as it’s democrat suburbs what’s wrong with that?
Had a similar thing happen in the 1980s.
Shortly after I got a job and moved out of my home town, a city of about 16K at the time, the government supplied low interest loans for construction of low income rental units. The deal with the government allowed the owner to rent to regular tenants after 10 years.
These apartments where built on the very edge of town, beyond was farms. Across the road was a bowling alley.
I was now living about three hours away so only came back to town for a weekend about once or twice a month.
One weekend in the late summer that bowling alley was having a special on bowling, something like 10 games for $5. My friends and I decided to go bowl the day way. That day just happened to be the first of the month.
We walked in and half the lanes were filled with loud obnoxious drunks. We talked with the counter staff and were told that these were people from the low-income units across the road and it was like this on the first of every month. They got their welfare checks and came across the road and had a party every month.
They were kind enough to put us at the opposite end of the building as far as possible from the partiers. But that also put us far from the bar. But we were willing to walk for our beer.
After the 10 years were up the apartments were torn down. They had been trashed beyond repair.
“After the 10 years were up the apartments were torn down. They had been trashed beyond repair.”
Back in the day when the local news did the slum outrage pieces, they would always show the smashed toilet and slam the landlord for not running right in to replace it. I guess I must have been the only one wondering how that happened to begin with.
Residence of NYC are moving up north at an alarming rate
These EnvironMentalist/GovernMentalist/Commonists/Demonocrats never sleep because they are filled with evil spirits!!!
Trump may cancel the AFFH, but just like our massive government bureaucracy, it will be there waiting for the next leftist President to come along and turn it back on.
